Social science research is a systematic method of exploring, analyzing, and conceptualizing human life and social phenomena. The goal is to extend, verify, or correct existing knowledge about human behavior and social institutions. Social sciences study complex human nature and behavior within social groups and institutions using various disciplines like anthropology, economics, history, and sociology. Unlike physical sciences, human behavior is difficult to predict due to its diversity and complex interactions with the environment. Social science research aims to discover new facts, understand human behavior and causal relationships, develop new methods, diagnose social problems, systematize knowledge, enable prediction and planning, and promote social welfare.
