This document summarizes a research paper that aims to design a smart home system using IoT technology. The system allows users to control and monitor home appliances like lights and sensors via a smartphone app called Blynk. The system connects appliances and sensors to the internet using a NodeMCU microcontroller. Users can send ON/OFF commands from the Blynk app graphic interface to control loads connected to relays. The system was implemented successfully and provides remote smart home control using affordable IoT components like NodeMCU and Blynk server.
