Introduction
 SMAC(Social, mobile, analytics and cloud) is
an innovation of IT Sector where every person
using it is at gain
 Consumers finds everything at one place
while companies know what their customers
are looking for and who actually are their
customers
 It is an integrated way to stay connected
where it is a win-win situation for everyone.
Introduction
 Taking an example:
 A person can access an e-commerce website
through their smartphone, when he buys something
he has an option of sharing it with his friends /relatives
through different social networking sites
 On the other hand the management of that e-
commerce website gets to know what kind of
shopper this person is, and hence he can use this
information to sell similar kind of products to the
person and also target their family members for
similar products(Targeted marketing)
 The social media website can also store such data
and take feedback from the consumer
Trends
 Latest trend in the field of SMAC is connecting
social media with e-commerce sector
 The biggest impact will be of Analytics
 Data analytics has applications in all the fields
and hence it will help in constituting in growth
of IT industry
 It is an important tool for taking big decisions
and help in focusing the growth in proper
directions and coming up with new solutions
Interest Areas
 I would like to work in the field of Analytics
if given the internship
 Data analytics has been a fascinating
subject for me, I have been reading a lot
about it since I have come across it
 I am also working on a project of
analyzing a given data set and coming
up with recommendations

Introduction  SMAC(Social, mobile, analytics and cloud) is an innovation of IT Sector where every person using it is at gain  Consumers finds everything at one place while companies know what their customers are looking for and who actually are their customers  It is an integrated way to stay connected where it is a win-win situation for everyone.
  • 3. Introduction  Taking an example:  A person can access an e-commerce website through their smartphone, when he buys something he has an option of sharing it with his friends /relatives through different social networking sites  On the other hand the management of that e- commerce website gets to know what kind of shopper this person is, and hence he can use this information to sell similar kind of products to the person and also target their family members for similar products(Targeted marketing)  The social media website can also store such data and take feedback from the consumer

Trends  Latest trend in the field of SMAC is connecting social media with e-commerce sector  The biggest impact will be of Analytics  Data analytics has applications in all the fields and hence it will help in constituting in growth of IT industry  It is an important tool for taking big decisions and help in focusing the growth in proper directions and coming up with new solutions

Interest Areas  I would like to work in the field of Analytics if given the internship  Data analytics has been a fascinating subject for me, I have been reading a lot about it since I have come across it  I am also working on a project of analyzing a given data set and coming up with recommendations
