4. Major Trends that made use of SMAC!!
Campaigns:- “ALS Ice bucket challenge”, “India against
RAPE”, “Abki Baar Modi Sarkar”(MODI’s Wave), “Tweet-a-
Beer”, Cadbury’s “Thanks a million” etc etc. SMAC helped in
almost every campaign that started from 2012 and made
them victorious.
Banking and financial services sector:- SMAC can help
banks engage their customers in a frank conversation and
gain insights into their spending habits, likes and dislikes etc.
and to provide a personalized solution to help his banking
needs thus boosting his loyalty and gaining in reputation.
Employee hiring:- SMAC has been an eminent part in
employee hiring phase. For eg:- By going through the social
profile of a person and with some data analysis his Emotional
Quotient can be known.
5. Trends That would change India’s Destiny…
SME’s(Small and Medium Enterprises) in India can be called
the “backbone of the GDP” of India. The contribution of the SME
sector to the entire output of the country is nearly 40%. Currently,
there are over 11 million SME units in India.

6. Areas of Interest
My interest is in Social and Analytics parts of SMAC.
If given an internship, I would be interested in developing
applications that would utilize the Data Analysis to provide
an easier and efficient platform for SMEs improve their
customer domain and profits while reducing the over
expenditure.
In agricultural field also, SMAC would be beneficial for
farmers to get an idea of most demanded crop of the
season and many other features.
Apart from these my area of interest is for developing such
applications that would target common men and solve
their day to day problems using SMAC.
