The difference between physical and chemical sunscreenKarlAnthonyBusa
As the summer starts to set in, so is the debate on which sunscreen you should be using. Specifically, the debate is about the benefits of chemical versus physical sunscreen.
Sunscreen works by combining organic and inorganic active ingredients that protect the skin against sun rays. Sunscreen may come in various forms, including sprays, liquids, lotions, powders, and creams.
There are two main types of sunblock available. These are physical and chemical sunscreen. Understanding how these sunscreens are made and the ingredients they contain can help you pick one that is best suited for your skin type.

A micelle is an aggregate of surfactant molecules dispersed in a liquid colloid.
A typical micelle in aqueous solution forms an aggregate with the hydrophilic "head" regions in contact with surrounding solvent, sequestering the hydrophobic tail regions in the micelle centre. This type of micelle is known as a normal phase micelle (oil-in-water micelle).
Inverse micelles have the head groups at the centre with the tails extending out (water-in-oil micelle).

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2. The skin’s vital functions can be altered if ideal hygiene is not maintained, and it
may trigger skin complications.
A non-suitable daily skin cleaning routine may lead to less radiant skin with a dull,
lifeless texture.
We recommend cleansing the skin Day and Night to remove external
impurities that have built up during the day (tobacco, smoke, pollution, etc.) and
those that we secrete through the pores during the night.
It is important to remember that facial hygiene does not
only include the face, but also the neck and cleavage.
The importance of good
Facial Hygiene
3. A product range formulated to respond to the problems of sensitive and reactive skins,
which cannot be solved with standard cosmetics.
Products made with Salies-de-Bearn Thermal water, a source in the French Pyrenees,
designed to cover the aesthetic requirements of the most delicate skins. It provides immediate
comfort while also treating the common signs of early skin ageing. When used continually:
It standardises sensitive skins by re-establishing their barrier
function
It re-balances the epidermal metabolism
It reduces the skin’s capacity to react unfavourably to certain
situations (stress, pollution, etc.).
4. What are micelles?
Micelles are a set of molecules in charge of trapping the skin’s
impurities.
Their have a “bipolar” chemical composition: on one side they attract
water, and on the other side, they repel it.
They can attract grease particles like a magnet and remove them
thanks to their repellent action.
The make-up removing power of micelles
5. Can Micellar Water be used to remove
make-up from all skins?
When the face has make-up applied, particularly long-lasting or
waterproof products that tend to be greasier, specific make-up removers
are required, like the ones with emulsion or milk textures.
Micellar Water is an ideal product for those with hypersensitive skin.
Some professionals recommend it in cases of intolerance to standard
products or if removing make-up from lips and eyes, because it is a very
soft product on the skin. It does not irritate the eyes, or cause redness.
6. Non-rinse make-up remover. The cleansing
surfactants structured in micelles gently remove make-up
from the face, lips and even the eyes.
Moisturiser. Its formula includes FNH and macadamia
oil for greater moisturising, softness and skin barrier
protection.
Calming. The Salies-de-Bearn Thermal Water gives the
skin a feeling of well-being, reducing the reactivity of
sensitive skins.

7. The Macadamia tree grows slowly, and comes from Australia.
Macadamia oil is obtained by pressing the fruit of the Macadamia sp.
Its seed has a high oil content, up to 80% by weight.
Its contribution to a micellar formula is based on providing softness to the skin.
Thanks to its lipidic phase, it creates a greater barrier protection .

8. How to use Micellar Water
To cleanse the face. Wet a few
cotton wool discs with Micellar
Water and cleanse the skin with soft
rubbing movements, starting from
the forehead, and continuing along
the cheekbones and ending on the
neck. If the cotton wool has a lot of
dirt, repeat the action.
To remove make-up from the
face. Wet the cotton wool and
remove the make-up from the
different areas on the face.
Forehead, cheekbones, chin and
neck. Cleanse each area until the
cotton wool comes away perfectly
clean.
To remove make-up from the
eyes. Soak the cotton wool well
and place over the eyes. Pat
gently until the eye shadow,
mascara or eye liner is damp.
After a few seconds rub
outwards without pressing the
eye too hard. Repeat several
times until the eye make-up is
completely removed.
To cleanse and remove make-
up from the lips, soak the
cotton wool disc in Micellar
Water. Wipe it over the centre
of the lip to remove any lipstick
and/or lip definer. Work
outwards.
10. 3-in-1 make-up remover (face,
eyes and lips).
NON-RINSE make-up remover,
moisturises and calms.
Can be used as a tonic lotion.
With Macadamia oil and FNH.
In summer it is advisable to keep it
in the fridge for a greater feeling of
comfort and calming on the skin.
Perfect travel product.

17. How to cleanse the skin?
Let’s review …
The eye contour is a sensitive, delicate area and so it must be cleansed with
soft, delicate products that respect the skin’s pH. We recommend the Eye
Make-up Remover or Micellar Water by Aquatherm. Soak a couple of cotton
wool discs with the product, place over the eyes for a few seconds and then
carefully remove all the remains of eye shadow and mascara.
To cleanse the face we must chose the cleanser best suited to our skin
type. If our skin is oily, we recommend the mousse or gel-like textures. If
our skin is dry moisturising emulsions are better. If our skin is sensitive,
gels or milks that respect the skin’s protective mantle are best. Apply the
chosen product and gently work it into the face and neck with circular
movements to form an emulsion with the make-up and lift the impurities
off the skin. It is advisable to remove the cleanser with plenty of water or
use a generous amount of tonic.

18. Depending on the skin, it is advisable to apply an in-depth
cleansing 1 or 2 times a week.
Use Scrub type texture exfoliants or Acid/Enzyme solutions that
are more effective in renovating the dead cells and impurities in
the deeper layers of the skin.
