6. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
CURRICULUM
MODULAR 1
SINGLE PHASE SURFACE WIRING
 Participants will perform a single-phase surface
wiring. This modular covers the wireman work
process which includes electrical surface wiring,
inspection and the final testing.

7. MODULAR 1 WORKSHOP

8. MODULAR 2
SINGLE PHASE CONDUIT AND TRUNKING
WIRING
Participants will perform a single phase wiring with
conduit and trunking method. This module covers
additional wiring processes such as bending, cutting
and installing PVC conduit and PVC trunking.
 Finally participants will carry out with inspection and
final testing on their installation.

11. MODULAR 3
THREE PHASE CONDUIT AND TRUNKING
WIRING
 Participants will perform conceal wiring and metal
conduit installations. This module covers additional
wiring technique which includes bending, cutting and
installing metal conduit and trunking
 Finally participants will carry out with inspection and
final testing on their installation.

14. MODULAR 4
THREE PHASE ELECTRICAL MACHINE
 Participants will be able to work with three types
of 3 phase industrial motors which are Squirrel
Cage, Slipring and Synchronous motors
 They will identify construction, overhaul,
assemble and running the motors.

15. MODULAR 4
THREE PHASE ELECTRICAL MACHINE
 Participants will then perform a wiring for motor
starter such as
 Direct Online Starter (DOL),
 Star-Delta Starter (SD),
 Forward Reverse Starter (F/R),
 Rotor Resistance Starter,
 Autotransformer
 Soft Starter
 Finally participants will carry out with
inspection and final testing on their
installation.

18. MODULAR 5
ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY WIRING AND
MAINTENANCE
 Participants will have new skills in performing cable
installation which are cable tray, riser, ducting, steel
wire armored cable and main switch board (MSB).
 New systems will be introduced to the participants
which are:
 Install & maintain air-conditioning system
 Install & maintain fire alarm systems.
 Install underground cable system.
