Lost is the name of a short film that will be 6-7 minutes long. This length was chosen to fit requirements and avoid boring audiences. Props for the film include tents, a knife, car, and iPhones. The target audience is those interested in action/drama films, primarily males aged 14-18, as the film will contain a lot of action. Younger audiences may also be interested through relatable personal relationships portrayed in the characters, even if they are not key characters. The film aims to provide diversion and allow audiences to relate to characters' actions.

Name – Lost
I Decided on the name of ”Lost” because the connotations of lost are going
astray or being bewildered as to their direction and this is very relatable to my
film and one of the characters specifically.
Lengthof film
The length of my film will be approximately 6-7 minutes. I havemade surethat
it is within the requirements of the 5-10-minutetime frame. Also, I didn’t want
to makemy film too long as otherwisethe audiencemight become bored during
the film.

Target audience
The targetaudience of my filmwill be anyonewho is interested in action/drama
films. The majority of my audience will be aged from 14-18 and will be mostly
males as there will be a lot of action in my film. According to the NRS scale,
anyone fromB downwards would be most interested in the film as the film will
be relatable to all stages in the scale as this will be done through the use of
personalrelationships (Bulmer and Katz audience theory 1959) as the audience
will be able to relate to the characters as there will be a range of different aged
characters in the film, even though they may not be a key character.
Additionally, the useof diversion will also be used in the film as it will allow the
audience to escape fromtheir lives and relax and take their minds of their day
to day work. Finally, the use of personal identity may help the audience realise
that the characters may be acting very similar to them and when they do
something stupid in the film it may make them think about the way they act.
