This document provides design ideas and considerations for implementing a robust Wi-Fi system in a shopping mall. It discusses using access points deployed every 150-200 meters in hallways (line of sight) to provide Wi-Fi for customers, and every 20-40 meters to also provide in-store coverage penetrating walls (non-line of sight). Specific access point models are recommended, and installing multiple access points is advised to ensure adequate coverage and performance comparable to 3G networks. Partnering with cellular providers for equipment sharing and rental income is also presented as a strategy.
