This erosion and sediment control plan outlines best management practices for a selective timber harvest project on an 80-acre property near Mansfield, PA from August 1 to September 30, 2015. Temporary practices will include a stabilized construction entrance, temporary bridge over Lambs Creek, silt fencing, and a sediment trap. Permanent practices will be seeding and mulching of disturbed areas. The plan describes the topography, soils, earth disturbances, runoff projections, and receiving waters. Practices are designed to control erosion and sedimentation, especially around the 7-acre lumber yard area, to protect water quality in Lambs Creek and downstream.
