It recognizes that many people around the world work in poor conditions to survive and help their families, including many children who work long hours. Achieving Goal 8 would help improve living standards and life chances for those in difficult work situations while also benefiting the global economy. Progress is measured by factors like the number of people in poverty despite having jobs and gender gaps in labor force participation rates between men and women. Individual actions people can take include buying local products, not supporting companies with poor working conditions, getting involved in advocacy and unions, and raising awareness of workers' rights issues.

that means that:
- everyone should help everyone to achieve success in
economic growth.

3. Why is goal 8 important to achieve? What's the purpose and
benefit of reaching goal X for the world/humankind?
It is important because:
- many people on this planet have to work in very poorly working conditions only to
be able to survive for another day.
- There are many children in the world that have to work up to 12 hours a day to be
able to help there families.
The goal is:
- to help people who work in these conditions.
- so that they can have a better life and a better chance in the world.
- This could also help our planet and our economy.

- A full 700 million people are living:
in extreme or moderate poverty despite having employment.
-Among the issues highlighted:
is the lack of progress in closing the gender gap in labour force
participation.
- Only 48 per cent of women are in the labour force, compared to
75 per cent of men.

9. Do you think we/people do their best?
- No! People usually only pay attention to money.
- Things are ordered where it is cheapest. The 2022 World Cup will also take
place in Qatar.
- All this because a lot of money then goes to Gianni Infantino (Fifa President)
and Fifa.
- Due to the World Cup, many stadiums are built and the workers are poorly paid,
have very poor conditions and virtually no rights.
- The problem is that few people care about human rights. Money rules the
