additional sixteen subsea wells. Project developed three six-slot subsea manifolded
areas producing to an existing FPSO. As an on-going development project,
significant subsea re-architecture was required.
 Management of design teams in the preparation of documents for FEED initiation
and conception. Option selection and evaluation leading to concept approval
through gated project management processes.
 Okwori Phase III Development: Expansion of FPSO process facilities to accept
seven new producers and one gas injection well. Expansion of FPSO balcony with
six additional manifold slots and a subsea well control system, with electro-hydraulic
capability. Tie back of new subsea wellheads to FPSO. Development of improved
well response measures. Award and completion of design, procurement and
manufacturing contracts to x-works of all project equipment within budget and
schedule. Design and manufacture value circa $140M.
 Management of manufacturing process achieving manufacturing targets for 26km of
subsea EH multi-core umbilicals, high pressure flexible flowlines and eight dynamic
risers. Management of installation processes topside and subsea spread
contractors. Installation and commissioning of subsea production and control
systems.
 Okwori Pase II and Adanga North Field Development: Expansion of FPSO
facilities to accommodate eight new manifold slots and installation of a multiplexed
electro-hydraulic subsea control pod. Development and tie back of six subsea
wellheads risers, flowlines and control umbilicals to existing FPSO. Offshore
installation and tie-in of new manifold slots. Installation of flowlines, gas lift and
control umbilicals, with both direct hydraulic and multiplexed communications-on-
power control schemes. Development of the Adanga North Field proposed as an
18 well development with two platforms tied back to Adanga central production
facilities. Construction and installation of single extended well test platform for field
appraisal leading to financial investment decision for entire Adanga North Field
Development. Installation of extended welltest platform production and gaslift
subsea pipelines to host facilities.

Resident Project Engineer
January 2003- August 2005 Shell Gabon, Gamba, Rabi and Toucan Oilfields
 Rabi Phase III Field Expansion Project : An Interface Management role between
Company and EPCM contractor. Project objectives were to increase gas injection
capacity, improving reservoir management and achieve “flares-out” targets. A new
booster compression plant was installed and existing lift compressors re-wheeled.
Balance of plant serving lift compression stages required overhaul to meet
increased duty. Control systems were upgraded from pneumatics to electronics to
respond to faster system dynamics. Gas collection and distribution pipeline
networks were also expanded.
 Project doubled Rabi gas compression capacity to 120mmscfd for gas injection and
gas lift and systems, and achieved “flares out” before 2007 deadline. Project budget
$148 M.
 Toucan Greenfield Development Project: Construction of greenfield GOSP
production facility for 20kbpd, three phase processing of heavy, 18API crude, and
export to Rabi Central host facilities. Process employed two phase separation,
followed by heating and dehydration. Installation of facilities for crude export, gas
lift, water injection and utilities. Development was powered through extension of
Rabi 22KV system. Installation of EPF capable of 8 kbbl/d initial production.
 Completion of basic and detailed design, long lead procurement and expediting to
site. Completion of all civils and preparation for construction contract issue. Project
budgeted at $105 million.
Project Engineer
January 2001- January 2003 Shell Gabon, Gamba, Gamba and Rabi Oilfields.
 Rabi Gas lift/ Gas Injection capacity upgrade: Implement capacity up-grades of
the field gas lift and gas injection systems.
 Installation and commissioning of lift gas collection and distribution pipeline systems
in Rabi field. Sponsor for the project including: HAZOP and HAZID risk assessment
studies. Managed all phases from concept to commissioning and handover.
 Gamba Terminal produced water treatment capacity upgrade: Doubled terminal
produced water systems processing capacity via installation of gas floatation units.
 Completed upgrade, reducing oil in water content discharged to sea to below
company target of 4 ppm. Completed project from concept to commissioning and
handover.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
March 2000- January 2001 Gasco, Abu Dhabi, BuHasa NGL Plant.
 BuHasa NGL Plant Capacity Expansion: Front end engineering design (FEED)
review, estimation and planning, for NGL Plant capacity expansion.
 P&ID preparation & review, with tie-in planning for molecular sieve, cryogenic HEX,
turbo expander / compressor and plant residue gas compressor.
