1. School recognizes the value of family support in child’s better performance in
academics and in promoting adaptability and resilience through a strong support
system, as stipulated in DepEd mission that family engagement and shared
responsibility with school develops life-long learners, this office announces the
conduct of FAMILY DAY ACTIVITY on December 12, 2023 at the school ground.
2. The objectives of this activity are to:
a. engage family to share responsibility in developing life-long learners
b. promote resilience and well-being among pupils
c. respect the diverse family set up
d. recognize that family is the focal support system of a child
e. build strong partnerships between and among school, parents and children
f. advocate strong family ties
3. The participants of this activity are Kinder to Grade 6 pupils and parents, Grade level
PTA officers, teaching, and non-teaching personnel.
4. Activities include fun run, games and eating together.
5. Joint meeting of Teachers and grade level PTA officers shall be conducted for the
finalization of plan and working committee on a schedule through their class advisers
6. The mechanics of the activity, working committee are contained in separate enclosures
attached to this memorandum.
7. Enclosure 1 contains the flow of the activity and topics for discussion.
8. Expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be charged to school local funds
subject to usual accounting and auditing rules.

A. MECHANICS FOR THE FAMILY DAY ACTIVITY
1. This activity is open for all families of Cambaog ES learners from Kinder to Grade 6.
2. Pre- registration of participants will be done prior to the activity to determine the
number of participants through a google sheet.
3. Team colors are Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and White- the registration form is color
coded.
4. The day’s activities include Fun Run, brief opening program and Games by station.
Grade level officers and advisers will be in-charge of the games.
5. Individual, Team and Group games are proposed as follows:
a. Tie My Shoe
b. Follow My Lead Maze
c. Body parts relay
d. Egg Catching (parent and child)
e. Pillow relay
f. Base relay (Station 1: Beads sewing, Station 2: Tower building, Station 3:
Puzzle, Station 4 cup blowing, Station 5: Balloon Popping
g. Bowling (parent and child)
h. Basketball
i. Marshmallow eating (husband and wife)
j. Balloon popping
6. All points shall be cumulative.
