A NARRATIVE REPORTON THE PREPARATION
IN THE UPCOMING CLRAA 2023
CLRAA stands for Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association. It is a
regional sports event that is held annually among the different schools and
athletic associations in Central Luzon, which is a region in the Philippines. The
event aims to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among the
students and to identify the best athletes who will represent the region in the
Palarong Pambansa, which is the national sports competition in the Philippines.
The CLRAA features various sports events, such as athletics, swimming,
basketball, volleyball, and many others.
On April 22, 2023, the teachers gathered at the Audio-Visual Room of the
school to prepare for the upcoming CLRAA (Central Luzon Regional Athletic
Association) 2023 with the theme, " Sports for Peace." The atmosphere was
bustling with excitement and anticipation as everyone was looking forward to
the annual sports event.
BSES accommodated the SDO Pampanga Table Tennis and Basketball
delegates with more or less 70 persons in total on April 24 - 28, 2023. The first
day of the preparation was all about the preparations of the school facilities such
as the classrooms, comfort rooms, mess hall, and BSES Annex to be utilized by
the delegates. Each TWG Team performed their roles and responsibilities such
as:
1. Prepared the Logbook and Attendance Sheet
2. First Aid Kit
3. CLRAA Information Bulletin Board
4. Tarpaulin and Signages
5. Cleaning and Preparing of Rooms and other Ancillaries
6. Checking of Comfort Rooms and Handwashing Area
7. Traffic Management
On April 23, 2023, the school administration, teachers, and delegates
gathered in the BSES Annex Building for the welcoming program of the delegates
from SDO Pampanga. It was hosted by Ma'am CJ G. Anulacion and Ma'am
Melissa E. Viray.
The school principal gave a warm welcome to the delegates, expressing her
gratitude for their participation in CLRAA 2023. She also encouraged everyone
to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie, and to
enjoy the various sports events that would be held throughout the event.
The Guro ko, Talentado participants also welcomed the delegates with a
lively dance performance. The delegates were impressed and energized by the
performance, setting the mood for the rest of the program.

The delegates were also given a tour of the school's facilities, such as the
rooms, comfort rooms, and mess hall to be utilized. The tour also gave the
delegates an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the surroundings and to
prepare themselves mentally and physically for the upcoming sports
competitions.
The welcoming program ended with a closing speech from the school
faculty president, who wished all the delegates the best of luck in their respective
sports events. She also reminded everyone to prioritize safety and sportsmanship
throughout CLRAA 2023.
Overall, the welcoming program for the 2023 CLRAA SDO Pampanga
delegates was a success, providing an excellent start to the event and setting the
stage for a memorable and successful competition.
