A NARRATIVE REPORT ON CARD DISTRIBUTION IN FIRST QUARTER
S.Y 2023-2024
PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association, a school-based organization with a
mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Parents of students
work together with teachers to volunteer in classes, raise money for school supplies,
and generally support the school’s efforts.
Based on Dep Ed. order no.77 s.2009 entitled Guidelines for the conduct of
elections of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTAs) at the School Level and their
Federation, the office announced the conduct of the activity beginning September 5-
9. The period of election for HRPTA and General Election were started in Elementary
Grades and lasted in Kindergarten last September 9, 2022.
The objectives of the activity were to:
a. Organized homeroom PTA officers who will constitute the General PTA for S.Y
2022-2023.
b. Established a support system for the pupils learning during and after face-to-
face learning.
c. Share the responsibility in planning and accomplishment of proposed projects
and programs.
The usual election for HRPTA happened inside the classroom to check the
attendees’ parents that support the program of the school. The teacher
presentation was began in pre-liminary activities from prayer, welcomed
remarks, acknowledgement for the donated supplies and reminders for
parents on what to do in dealing conversation in group chat, including the
punctuality of their child in school, the arrival and dismissal after class.
The most important credentials of a child were her/his Birth Certificate,
transfer of records (sf10). Kindergarten grading system ECD based was also
mentioned. The performance tasks of each child inside the class and in paper
and pencil activity will be seen in her/his portfolio. Kindergarten achievement

will be measured in Quarterly Assessment instead of giving Summative Tests
and Periodical Tests.
Parents reminded by the teacher to review the child after school. Guide the
learners to answer the assignment. Awards will be achieved based on
Performance tasks of the pupils who will follow the standards of awarding.
Based on Dep Ed order no.36, s. 2016, no numerical grades for kindergarten
pupils instead performance awards will be given in Quarterly Recognition.
Before the meeting has ended, the teacher reminded some important matter
on how to build parents-teacher good relation for the learners’ welfare, the project
Green Antz, as well.
Then, the HRPTA and General election proceeded and administered by each
class adviser. Over all, the term HRPTA and general election were successfully
attained.
