The Duck Creek watershed in Scott County, IA is currently facing high levels of Escherichia coli
(E. coli) bacteria contamination. This pollution has put the watershed on the impaired waters list
for the state of Iowa. The impaired waters list is a comprehensive list of every waterway in a state
that has a contamination problem according to EPA regulations (insert source for impaired waters
explanation EPA regulations). Much of the pollution that can be found in the Duck Creek watershed
is coming from nonpoint source (NPS) pollution. Nonpoint source pollution significantly
contributes to the deterioration of water quality due to the difficulty in identifying, assessing and
controlling the sources of this type of pollution (citation Wang). This pollution is caused by runoff
moving over the land. It picks up and carries away natural and human made pollutants, finally
depositing them into lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands and even our underground sources of drinking
water (citation SCSWCD). Examples of nonpoint sources in the watershed could include failing
septic systems, livestock access to streams, pastures full of manure, fertilizers applied to crops,

BackgroundThe Vice Chief of Staff of the Army approved the position for the 882A Mobility
Warrant Officer (MWO) in July 1997. His original vision for the MWO was to embed them in
the 10 active Divisions and the two interim brigade combat teams (IBCTs) at that time. Their
initial success in these roles and increased world deployments led to a demand for these
deployment experts at every level of command. MWOs where soon assigned to the 10 divisions,

Mapp was acquitted of the gambling charges, which were a misdemeanor. At first, Mapp pled
guilty to the obscene materials charge but later withdrew her guilty plea and pled not guilty. Her
trial started on September 3, 1958 (Persico 14). There were two witnesses for the prosecution at
the trial: Sergeant Delau and Officer Haney. There were three witnesses for the defense: Walter

strengthen, and is used in psychology to refer to anything stimulus which strengthens or
increases the probability of a specific response. For example, if you want your child to do
something more and more, you may give her a treat every time she does that. Thus the child will
eventually know that if I do this, it will be followed by a treat and the more you praise her the
