The Samuel Beckett Bridge is a 120m long cable-stayed bridge in Dublin that spans the River Liffey, connecting the north and south banks. It was designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava and took over two years to construct from 2007 to 2009. The bridge can rotate 90 degrees to allow ships to pass through and has four traffic lanes, cycle tracks, and footpaths on each side. It was funded with the aim of revitalizing both sides of the river through its iconic harp-shaped design.
