This project provided a six-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, approximately 2,100 feet in length, along Arlington Boulevard. The new sidewalk provides a safe, continuous walkway along the north side of Arlington Boulevard from the Cedar Hill Road to Allen Street and along to the south side of Arlington Boulevard from Graham Road to Woodley Lane. The project includes new curb and gutter, curb ramps, detectable warning surfaces, bus pad, median cut through, storm drainage improvements, asphalt paving, pavement markings, landscaping, and related signage.

Description:
The Route 50 Sidewalk – Cedar Hill Road to Allen Street and Graham Road to Woodley Lane project
was substantially completed on December 18, 2019. This project provided a 6-foot-wide concrete
sidewalk approximately 2,100 feet in length along Arlington Boulevard. The project includes new
curb & gutter, curb ramps, detectable warning surfaces, bus pad, median cut thru, storm drainage
improvements, asphalt paving, pavement markings, landscaping and related signage.
Benefits:
• Provides safe continuous pedestrian access walkway along the north side of Arlington Boulevard
from the Cedar Hill Road to Allen Street and along to the south side of Arlington Boulevard from
Graham Road to Woodley Lane.
