The document provides feedback on a teaser trailer for a student film. For question 1, most respondents identified the genre as teen drama. For question 2, the perceived narrative themes were equality, individuality, and fighting problems. For question 3, respondents felt the teaser hinted at teens overcoming problems together through campaigning against discrimination. Most feedback was positive, noting the teaser's emotional elements and camera work, though some felt it revealed too much or had a weak ending. Suggestions for improvement included changing the second half music, adding voiceovers, and creating more tension at the end.
The renewable energy sector is one of the world’s
fastest growing areas of economic activity. Global
investment in renewable energy has grown six-fold from
2004 to 2015, reaching one-third of a trillion dollars.
The Victorian government recognises this and has put in play mechanisms to harness this market reality.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. QUESTION 1: IS THE TEASER SUGGESTIVE OF A
PARTICULAR GENRE? IF SO, STATE THE GENRE AND WHAT
SIGNIFIES THIS?
• Teen drama
• Documentary
• Cultural
• Teen drama
• Teen drama
As you can see from the feedback received it is clear that the majority
of the people thought it was a teen drama, which is what we had
planned it out as being. However, cultural and documentary was also
said, and this isn’t surprising as those two genres link into what we
were showing so think this is good that the audience gained some
understanding upon what we were trying to show.
3. QUESTION 2: FROM THE TEASER WHAT DO YOU THINK
THE NARRATIVE THEMES OF THE FILM ARE? (I.E. WHAT IS
THE FILM ABOUT IN ONE OR TWO WORDS?)
• Abuse, equality,
emotion
• Individuality
• Equality
• Equality, diversity
• Fighting through
problems
From the feedback we were able to analyse this and say that the
audience understood where we coming from with our initial idea
for our film. It is about equality and individuality in which we fight
through our individual problems through campaigning etc.
4. QUESTION 3: DOES THE TEASER SUGGEST ANYMORE
ABOUT THE FILMS NARRATIVE? WHAT DO YOU THINK
HAPPENS IN THE FILM?
• Teens that struggle
with problems
• Becoming friends &
fighting against
discrimination
• Campaign
• Unclear?
• Overcoming
problems together
Again from the feedback the audience have some understanding on what is
trying to be emphasised in our film with the coming together of everyone with
all our differences and creating a bond and fighting against the discrimination
through campaigning.
It can be seen as a little unclear due to the fact the editing isn’t completely
finished and we have a few more shots of us engaging which can be added to
show more of what happens to make it a little clearer.
5. QUESTION 4: IS IT A TEASER TRAILER? DOES IT FOLLOW
THE CONVENTIONS? EXPLAIN HOW IT DOES AND WHERE IT
DOESN’T.
• Yes – shows good
amount (2 sides of
plot shown –
good/bad)
• Yes – not too much
information
• Yes – short & snappy
• Yes – good length
• Yes – understand the
story – but perhaps
too much happening
From the feedback we can gather that we had followed the
conventions of a teaser trailer, which is the duration and only hinting
slightly at the plot with some of the more important scenes in the
film.
However, in regards to the comment about it showing too much, we
believe this isn’t the case as what happens in between of all that is
happening isn’t shown, where the characters meet, and go and fight
for their rights against discrimination etc.
6. QUESTION 5: DOES THIS MAKE YOU WANT TO SEE THE
REST OF THE FILM? WHY/WHY NOT?
• Yes – want to find out
about characters
problems & how it
affects them
• Yes – to see if they
succeed
• No – cheesy at the
end
• No – confused to
where the story goes
• No – ending seems to
clear
From the feedback received there were mixed opinions as to
whether would want to see the film or not. We knew this may have
been an issue because from the beginning we knew it may not
have appealed to many people. However, we are able to add more
tension in the teaser trailer to create more enigma, and perhaps
signify the ending a little less.
7. QUESTION 6: WHAT IS THE TEASERS STRENGTHS?
WHAT DO YOU LIKE?
• Emotional at
beginning, tracking
camera shot
• Camera angles – 1st
half
• 1st half – strong and
emotional
• Faces of individual
characters
• Music in 1st half,
teens would relate
We know that we had intended on keeping the first half of the
teaser trailer quite emotional to then show the change in the
atmosphere towards the end of the teaser trailer so we thought
this definitely worked effectively. The camera shot of the tracking
using the dolly worked very efficiently also which is great that it
went noticed.
8. QUESTION 7: WHAT WOULD YOU IMPROVE AND HOW?
• Music in 2nd half,
voiceovers
• Create a transition
in music change
• Cut parts of the
ending as its too
cheesy
• Shots with wording
need to be longer
• Removing some of
the end
From this feedback it can help us greatly improve our teaser trailer. The
music in the 2nd half was not we were intending on using, we were just trying
to find something that would fit nicely with the music in the 1st half. We are
going to be finding that soon for our final cut. The shots will be on for longer
and we will be doing voiceovers as it is another convention of a teen drama
genre. The end will however stay, perhaps we may create more tension within
it with the voiceovers which could contradict the happiness to create the
enigma for the audience.
