Question 3What have you learned from your audience feedback?
FEEDBACK DURING THE PLANNING OF MEDIA PRODUCT
Survey MonkeySurvey Monkey enables for Polls and questionnaires to be created. In many layouts e.g. Multiple questions, open and close ended.Using this for our planning:This is our primary data built up of our audience feedback. We used this to find out what and how we should plan our storyline our genre and about conventionsUnfortunately our response rate was low and consisted of majority females so our feedback was gender bias.
What we learnt from feedback(View full slide share on Blog)Questions:4. What films have you watched? Majority replied “The ring” This helped us decide to make a spoof of this movie5. do you enjoy watching comical spoofs? The response worked in a over 50% voted “Yes”
FEEDBACK DURING CONSTRUCTION OF FILM (FOCUS ON SCRIPT)
Independent researchFocus group analysing script and idea : 4 people from the ages 15-19. We took on a lot of what we learnt from this session and realised :Too much going on and narrative was overcomplicated and confusingThere was a unanimous consensus about the script being "waffley”Another problem was the lack of suspenseChanged made to storyline –Another suggestion that me and another group member decided to play on was the suggestion of making the ghost in our film a conscience, this was the conscience of the main character "Lindsey". This was to link with the notion of our main plot of "DEADLINE" therefore we should overemphasise and reflect the stress and hardship and how daunting it is too meet deadlines.using this new suggestion we revised the script and made big changes. Changes that we had made to film - To reduce the verbal communication Inserted sound clips, more camera techniques e.t.c. Clarified main and subordinate story linesReplaced verbal speech between characters with flashbacks e.t.cEnsured we make a build up of suspense
FEEDBACK AFTER MEDIA PODUCTFINAL CUT:SHORT MOVIE

she had given us feedback, firstly she had praised the acting out of the script, the humour , music to build suspense and the camera effects and editing effects.
