I first acquired an interest in pursuing a law degree during my sophomore year of college. In
order to prepare myself, I chose to major in criminal justice, with the intention of becoming a
defense attorney. During my senior year, I decided that I did not want to go to law school directly
after college. Shortly after graduation, I moved to New York Cityand explored other career options.

In a large city, full of diverse people, finding a musical performance is not hard to come by. Luckily,
as I was searching online for different performances I ran across The Flex Crew performing at
Skully s music diner. I have been to Skully s once before to watch a folk band perform. The
atmosphere was a lot different than when we saw The Flex Crew. Obviously, the genre of musicwas

for CEO risk aversion in the risk taking incentive model. Guay (1999) documents a positive
relationship between firm size and CEO risk taking incentives. I measure firm size as the total
sales at the end of the year. Previous empirical studies show that growth opportunities are also
expected to be positively related to CEO risk taking incentives (Guay, 1999; Rajgopal and
Shevlin, 2002; Coles et al., 2006). Consistent with earlier compensation studies, the market to
book value of assets is used as a proxy for growth opportunities. In contrast, leverage is expected to
be negatively associated with the risk taking incentives (Rogers, 2002). Financial leverage
increases the probability of financial distress increase and, therefore, there is lesser need to provide

it is a prime example of societies different views on controversial topics. Cheryl and June s articles
contain many differences, similarities and information to be reflected on.
Cheryl s main arguments are that everyone who loves women (whether its romantically, sexually,
platonically, etc.) is a feminist and lesbians are all part of a rebellion. She states, No matter how a
woman lives out her lesbianism she has rebelled against becoming the slave master s concubine,
viz., the male dependent female, the female heterosexual. This gives evidence towards her
argument that lesbians, regardless their intentions are resisting from the constructs that society
wants them to adhere to. June would disagree with this statement, arguing that lesbians aren t
