Litwinowicz [3]. This is the paper which we review first in this report.
Processing Images and Video for an Impressionist Effect
This paper aims producing impressions of the original image, i.e. images that give a sense of an
original image without reproducing it. They happen to have a painterly feel to them and appear as
they have been hand painted. They produce painterly animation from video clips automatically after
the user specifies a few parameters to generate he first frame. After the user s preferences are taken
into account and he approves the first frame, the whole video segment is automatically produced
without further user intervention.

The book I chose was Karl Marx s The Communist Manifesto. Marx starts his book off by
outlining what is happening to society. He states that society as a whole is more and more
splitting up into two hostile camps, into two great classes facing each other: Bourgeoisie and
Proletariat. Here, he is portraying that society has divided themselves and are on the verge of
fighting, hence him saying two hostile camps . He is describing the fact that, according to him,
money is driving us to fight. Bourgeoisie, by Marx s definition, means the capitalist class who

A study by the Palm Center, a research branch from the University of California Los Angeles
Law School, conducted a study a year after the repeal of DADT. The research group wanted to

Felix, or known better as Pewdiepie, lived in Gothenburg, Sweden. There he went to Gothenburg
Elementary School. Unlike most school districts his school went up to sixth grade instead of fifth.
Pewdiepie got great grades at his elementary school, and was very well liked. He always had a
great time, until he went to his junior high school. Kjellberg lost interest school and his once well
grades turned into C s and below. Though he never got held back, he was still able to pass onto
high school. He went to Samaskolan High School, and still he was struggling in school. Felix
lost connections and relationships at school including his family. Pewdiepie struggled for two

In the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Guy Montag doesn t realize the good in books.
Montag is a firefighter, whose job is to burn all the books that he can find at 451 degrees
fahrenheit. Guy Montag doesn t think he s doing anything bad by burning books, and all the
knowledge they contain. It s ordinary in the society that they live in to not read books but burn
them. But during the course of the book, Montag starts to learn more about books and begins to see
that there not so bad after all.
In the beginning of the book the setting takes place in a futuristic society where you are not
allowed to keep books or read them, it s against the law. Guy Montag s job is to go through houses
and find all the books that there are. He then takes them and burns them, and it s ordinary for

The genre is a musical comedy. The rock music of the eighties moves the play through the story
that is centered in the Bourbon Room bar in Los Angeles. Most of the characters in the play
used to be in a rock band, currently are in a rock band or are trying hard to get into a rock band.
The girls who wanted or currently want to make in movies are bar waitresses and strippers. Big
business wants to close down the strip and develop a new business district. The classic rock hits
and the main love interest moves the story toward a happy and energetic ending.
2)Did you enjoy the production? Why or why not?
I enjoy comedies and I love many of the songs that were in the play so I could not help but laugh
and sing along at times. The production was very good overall. I was uncomfortable with the
strippers. The very suggestive dances and constant presence of the outfits were not necessary for
the overall story. The females playing the strippers did a good job and did deliver in lines and
lyrics. The actors did a very convincing job. The vocals were strong and the live rock band gave
the show a punch. The small stage and limited seating at the Virginia Samford Theatrewere
strengths. The actors were close and you could see every expression. The size of the theatre helps
pull you into the play.

that would have to be outlined. These include payment, exclusivity, use, territory, and time (The Art

As the animals wait in their cold, boring, isolated cages, they do not receive the chance to roam
around or use their natural abilities. Before their soon, unavoidable death, some animals are

two secret African American teenage sisters who have different relationships and lead very

narrators, Dana Yarboro and Chaurisse Witherspoon, go through the same process, but in very
