 Rice husk ash is added to the brick to make it more
economical.
 The brick is the main material in construction due to
strengthen, durability, loading, compactness and light
weight.
 But now a days the materials cost of these bricks is
getting hired.
 By using rice husk ash as a building materials we can
reduce the cost of construction.
 To make a cost effective brick using waste materials
without compromising its properties.
 selection of raw materials
 manufacturing of fired brick with RHA in industrial
scale
 conducting experiments in the laboratory to test its
properties .
 Clay
• The clay was collected from a pit about 1m deep near the
bank of the river
• The pit was dug and excavated with the aid of an excavator.
 Rice Husk Ash:
• The rice husk ash was
collected from the output of the brick
kiln.
 Silicon dioxide : it gives more strength to the brick.
 Aluminum dioxide and iron oxide : it gives red color to
the pigment .

 The compressive strength of brick specimen having 2%
rice husk ash has maximum of compress strength of
6.20 MPa.
 The addition of rice husk ash are 2% by weight show
maximum of water absorption were 15.20 % because at
composition their high maximum of density properties.
 The bulk density were high maximum 1.68 g/cm3
with 2% addition of rice husk ash, and decrease when
rice husk ash addition more than 2%.
 Saves construction cost since the raw material are
easily available.
 Less water seepage and dampness in wall
 Less energy consumption
 Reduction in air pollution
 The best composition of brick is 2 percent of rice husk
ash by weight.
 The 2 percent of rice husk ash by weight obtain 6.20
MPa of compressive strength and 15.2 percent of water
absorption.
 The main component of rice husk ash is Silicon
Dioxide which effect of increasing interaction. The
interaction is that heated ash in quartz form rises up due
to solid state sintering. This cause effects strength of
brick end of water absorption.

Rice husk ash brick

  • 1.
  • 2.  Rice husk ash is added to the brick to make it more economical.
  • 3.  The brick is the main material in construction due to strengthen, durability, loading, compactness and light weight.  But now a days the materials cost of these bricks is getting hired.  By using rice husk ash as a building materials we can reduce the cost of construction.
  • 4.  To make a cost effective brick using waste materials without compromising its properties.
  • 5.  selection of raw materials  manufacturing of fired brick with RHA in industrial scale  conducting experiments in the laboratory to test its properties .
  • 6.  Clay • The clay was collected from a pit about 1m deep near the bank of the river • The pit was dug and excavated with the aid of an excavator.  Rice Husk Ash: • The rice husk ash was collected from the output of the brick kiln.

  • 8.  Silicon dioxide : it gives more strength to the brick.  Aluminum dioxide and iron oxide : it gives red color to the pigment .

  • 10.  The compressive strength of brick specimen having 2% rice husk ash has maximum of compress strength of 6.20 MPa.  The addition of rice husk ash are 2% by weight show maximum of water absorption were 15.20 % because at composition their high maximum of density properties.
  • 11.  The bulk density were high maximum 1.68 g/cm3 with 2% addition of rice husk ash, and decrease when rice husk ash addition more than 2%.
  • 12.  Saves construction cost since the raw material are easily available.  Less water seepage and dampness in wall  Less energy consumption  Reduction in air pollution
  • 13.  The best composition of brick is 2 percent of rice husk ash by weight.  The 2 percent of rice husk ash by weight obtain 6.20 MPa of compressive strength and 15.2 percent of water absorption.
  • 14.  The main component of rice husk ash is Silicon Dioxide which effect of increasing interaction. The interaction is that heated ash in quartz form rises up due to solid state sintering. This cause effects strength of brick end of water absorption.
