2. The assignment involved creating a set of animation type as if
you were a 3D animator and freelance games designer, because
of this we had to demonstrate our knowledge of the whole
production process and to develop our small project preparing
for higher education employment. The animation sequences I
chose to do involved in character doing certain actions weather
that being walking or fighting animations. I believe that the
type of assignment I chose for myself was achievable but
however I have not animated models for an extended amount so
I knew that It would be best to aim to high in creating very
complicated animations.
This allowed me to complete my project rather efficiently and
therefore resulted in creating a consistent amount of work.
ASSIGNMENT
3. I believe that the quality could be
improved slightly on all three
animation sequences but overall I am
quite pleased with the end results
even though the assignment deadline
was quite early.
And seeing as I have not used Layout
as much as I have of other programs
the quality of the work is not to an
excellent standard, however this does
not mean I have not put as much
effort as I could have done to the
production of each animation
sequence.
If I were to do this again I would
focus on perfecting the quality of my
animating skills.

4. I would say that my production
skills have been rather consistent
throughout the whole assignment
however looking through each task
I can see there could be room for
improvement if I were to revisit
this assignment.
Although I believe that I have a
large variety of production skills
either being Layout animating,
producing PowerPoint
presentations, creating a
production diary and schedule so
its safe to say that my work isn't
lacking in variety.
These skills have developed as the
project got into the later stages of
development because I was more
comfortable with the flow of
producing animations.
2.PRODUCTION SKILLS
5. My original intentions for the type of animation sequences was
to fully animate a medieval character fighting several enemies
using a sword and shield and dodging different attacks by
arrows and other assortment of weapons, However given he
short deadline and my lack of skill with animating I had bring
down the creativity of the animations which were shortened
down into small animation sequences which involved blocking
and two different attack sequences.
Even though I had lower my standards a little of animating what
I wanted I still believe that that sequences I did create were
finish to a good enough standard seeing my average skills with
animating.
3.ORIGINAL INTENTIONS
6. I think when going through each
task and judging weather not I
managed my time sensibly, I
believe in this case I have because
I have strictly kept to my schedule
and made sure that there were no
improvements that were needed to
be made within my schedule, I
have done this mainly so I kept up
to speed with the assignment.
Keeping on track with my time
management it allowed me to
efficiently plan out each week on
what I would be doing within that
week and the following week.
4.TIME MANAGEMENT
7. Looking through the
questionnaire that I created I
mostly acquired relatively
positive feedback from all three
of my completed animation
sequences, this allows me to
ponder on what improvements I
could make with the
questionnaire which I think would
be to aim it towards to a larger
group of people and to make the
questions abit more descriptive.
However I believed that if I made
the questions straight forward to
answer I would get more
feedback from my questionnaire.

8. I think going through all of the tasks I believe I have kept a
consistent level of work within the tasks, this is where I went into
great detail before hand with the research where I added
annotation and imagery explaining how they would help me in the
long term with the animating stages.
So overall I believe that I have created a fair amount of animations
with quite a lot of research to back up the creativity of my
animations, I also believe that I have managed to keep work rate
consistent throughout the whole assignment so I don’t see many
issues with my work that would seriously need addressing.
If I were to repeat this project again then I would follow rather
close to what I have produced but maybe give myself abit more
time to come up with more animation sequences or before hand I
would make sure that I fully knew on how to design an animation
that I wanted to create.
