Finding out about you Design Process Project Management
A creative re-invention – I
believemyself to beconfidentin a creative
field, personally becauseof thedesigns that
I can sometimes produce from thought.
This would make me ideal for the role of
designing imagery that others want ofme,
fulfilling my role of creating the main
character for a computer game.
Your likes, dislikes and
personality – My likes, dislikes
and personality will affect my work
slightly,because ifI like the project I
am keener to work on it. Although,
some dislikes such as animation
would still be completed to a high
standard.
Task 1 – Project Definition

Management
Commitment to task – I will be committed tomy task in order to completeittoo a
further developed standard. For instance, with each task I will put a lot oftime and
dedication into it, researching andlearning, solely becauseI feel itshould becompleted
to a higher standard. As well as this I will manage my time through a schedule.
5 Weeks to work on task – The five weeks given for the
project willsee me doing different pieces ofwork through-out for
instanceweek 3 would bethestageinwhich gamegenre, setting
and synopsis arediscussed. This is dueto thetight schedule in
which my work needs to becompleted.
7 tasks – Clearmanaged
process – The work itselfwillbe
organised into7 tasks bothin folders and
uploaded to my blog. The seven tasks will
all be containedin 1folder and would
allow me tosearch and navigatethem
with ease for any unfinished work.
Chronological Log of
production –I will
assemble a fundamental
production log ofmy work
to show the order and
time investedinto areas
ofit.
Managing my productionand blog –I will
update my blog withevery major changeI
make to this project. Themanagementof
my production willbefollowed upin the
production log. Although, my blog will
show productionofthe finishedpieces of
work I produce.
My Skills
Adobe Photoshop –
Raster– I am confident with
Photoshop in the sense I can get a
task finished,although my skillsand
work on Photoshop can most
definitely be I,proved with further
work and time into the program, I
feel as though my work is hindered if
I do not have enough time to finalize
it, therefore I will need to focus time
around Photoshop more than other
software
Adobe Illustrator –Vector-I
am confident with illustrator as I believe
my vector art work is of high standards,I
think his becauseof my use of tools in
illustrator.I can createimagery usingthe
appropriatetools for the job and with
character and background design I
believe I could create a relatively nice
piece of work adequate for my role in
creatinga main character.
Software
DSLR Camera – I have
knowledge of how to use a DSLR
camera from a variety of angles and
resolutions including adjustment to
weather etc.
Contingencies – I will save my work on
a USB drive, as I believe that I should load my
work through that and decrease the risk of
corruption or missing files.
