COMMITMENT:
Currently I’m a part of Leadership Hawkins which is sponsored by the Rogersville Chamber of Commerce. Their purpose is to
develop motivation and interest to participate in the community. They’ve put together a diverse group of people who wouldn’t
normally meet to improve communication between the various businesses and our local government. They also want to spark
interest in running for city and county offices - fresh people…fresh ideas.
I’ve been involved in several fund raisers for Of One Accord aimed at the food pantry and promoting good public relations
through public awareness to the ongoing need in our community:
July 4th event
Flamingo Gala benifiting the ministry and our Church Hill free clinic
Personally sold over 800 jars of peanut butter at the Rogersville Walmart over a 3 week period
First annual Health Fair in conjunction with Quillen College of Medicine at ETSU to give heath-care and
advise to low-income individuals
