specific intention of relaying information or recounting
certain events in a widely presentable form.

Includes title of the research, information
about researcher and client.
Transmittal Letter
Delivers the report to the client and summarises the
researchers overall experience with the project and
specifies the scope.
Authorization letter
Written by the client to researcher before the
work begins

4. Table of Content
Includes the topics covered and appropriate page
numbers
Executive Summary
The portion that executives read, describes
problem , approach, research design that was
adopted
Problem definition
Gives background to the problem and highlights
the discursion

5. Approaches to the problem
Discuss the broad approach that was adopted in
discussing the problem.
Research Design
Explains how the research was conducted
Data Analysis
Describes the plan of data analysis and justifies
data analysis strategy and techniques.
Results
Results should be arranged in a coherent and
logical way

6. Limitations and aveats
All marketing research projects have limitations
caused by time, budget, and other organizational
constraints
Conclusion and Recommendations
Based on the results and conclusion the researcher
may make recommendations to the decision
makers.
