Presentation includes a case profile.
Psyhcological reasons and obstacles for cooperation in groupsClaudia Matini
What does promote or hinder cooperative relations? How do we decide to cooperate or not?
Since, education plays a significant role in the creation of attitudes, this presentation is focused on the Cooperative learning method of instruction as a powerful instrument to promote non competitive interactions, both with adults and with young people. Its value is analysed in Transactional Analysis terms.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Reflection of my current skills.
1. Reflection of my current skills.
As a pre-service teacher, I have learned to appreciate the PDC sessions because these
have given me meaningful knowledge about learning. As John F. Kennedy (1963) pointed
out “Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in
each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit
for everyone and greater strength for our nation.” Therefore, I am looking at the valuable
contributions that the course has brought to my learning development and the deeper
insights obtained regarding motivation, autonomy, critical thinking skills, and
communication skills.
The power of agency
Firstly, I saw class as a time where I learned information, but the course has shown me
the real essence of a professional session. As Harmer (2001) points out among the main
objectives of teaching is to cause interest and involve the student in the topic regardless of
whether was interested or not in this from the beginning. Hence, my motivation towards
class entirely changed because the facilitator makes me reflect and become aware of my
desire to learn by using strategies such as reflecting and analyzing my own learning process
or evaluating information presented in the professional input. In the same way, my agency
has improved because I am really conscious about the meaning of finding the tasks´
purposes (help me to reflect as a professional), creating habits to improve my English skills
2. (reading newspapers, listen to subjects I like, writing about academic subjects), or using
Language learning projects to take advantage of learning opportunities.
Skills needed during this century
Secondly, a 21 century facilitator needs to develop critical thinking skills in order to be
competent, so I am trying to go beyond when reading the professional input since this
strategy helps me, little by little, to rigorously question ideas and assumptions rather than
accepting them at face value. Likewise, I am starting to apply it in domains such as
personal and occupational. On the other hand, I have taken powerful tools from the course
such as communication skills because I now understand the importance of actively interact
with my colleagues or the professor by asking questions, stating arguments with solid
evidence, and supporting each other as Trilling& Fadel (2009) states “creativity and
innovation can be nurtured by learning environments that foster questioning, patience,
openness to fresh ideas, high levels of trust, and learning from mistakes and failures.”
To conclude, I am on my journey to become a facilitator, and this process has taught
me to create a link between teaching and learning because the way you are as a learner, you
will be as a teacher. Finally, I am consciously assimilating all the valuable information,
strategies and teachings to become a successful 21 century learner.
