My Reader Profile 
Gender: 
Male 30% 
Female 70% 
I chose to survey 20 people from that and the majority were girls 
aged from 16-25, therefore I will target my magazine to older 
teens and young adults. 12/14 of the females I asked were aged 
from 16-25, 2/14 girls were age 11-15 and no females were aged 
26+. Also, all 6/6 males that I asked were aged 16-25. 
The most popular genre that I found from my survey was indie, 
closely followed by rock and then pop so I have decided to base 
my magazine on indie music. 
The people who I asked all chose indie artists as their favourite 
artists which will help me have an insight to what artists to 
include in my magazine. 
Many of the people who I asked said they preferred to read 
magazines either monthly or weekly, with the majority saying 
monthly so I will use this as a guide when creating my magazine. 
Also, everyone who I surveyed said they like it when magazines 
give away free gifts so I have chosen to give away free posters or 
a free CD.

Also, all 6/6 males that I asked were aged 16-25. The most popular genre that I found from my survey was indie, closely followed by rock and then pop so I have decided to base my magazine on indie music. The people who I asked all chose indie artists as their favourite artists which will help me have an insight to what artists to include in my magazine. Many of the people who I asked said they preferred to read magazines either monthly or weekly, with the majority saying monthly so I will use this as a guide when creating my magazine. Also, everyone who I surveyed said they like it when magazines give away free gifts so I have chosen to give away free posters or a free CD.
