Raspberries originated in Asia, Europe and North America. They grow best in full sunlight and well-drained soil. Raspberries are easy to grow at home but fragile. They are harvested from mid-summer to the first frost when bright red and easily pull from the vine. Raspberries are highly perishable and best consumed within a few days of purchasing.
