Researching into my target
audience
In terms of resarching my target audience I had made a
online questionaire a bit about my audience and what they
would want in terms of watching a horror films and what
was essential to them. I asked a group of 11 people to do an
online questionnaire.

of my target
audience was
of the ages
between 15-
19
They all
enjoyed
watching
horror
films
60% enjoyed
watching serial
killer/fact and fiction
sub-genre films so
therefore our film
was based on that
genre as it will
attract our target
audience more.
60% of my targeted
audience enjoyed a
horror film to have
blood and gore in it,
which is an extremely
important convention
of a horror genre
which we then had
included in our horror
trailer.
All the participants
preferred either
teenagers or adults
to play the role of
characters in a
film. So we had a
mix of both.
