2. For my magazine I decided that my target audience would be around 14-19 year olds of both genders. The genre of music I chose was indie as it has become increasingly popular around the world. I got this image from www.google.com which I think represents my target audience.
3. I wanted the boys hair to be down sweeping across their face as it represents a stereotypical teenage boy, especially one who is into indie music. I asked the boys to give direct eye contact, and to give quite straight facial expressions. Also for their body language to be quite relaxed and not to serious as I thought that represented a typical young boy band. I wanted the boys to wear t-shirts with other bands on them which were quite interesting, to then wear a plain grey cardigan which give off more of a modern, indie style.
4. I added images of a female singer with an indie style to my magazine as the magazine is for both genders. I wanted the model to have wavy red hair as that a modern representation on females with an indie style. I chose one of the boys of the cover to really focus on this model. The style and facial expression of the male would possibly attract female readers to the magazine. The text I have used in the magazine are very positive and interesting which creates a nice feeling for the reader. The colours and text used represent an indie look as they are darker and the writing is similar to other indie magazines such as NME.
5. I think these images show a really strong modern representation on males. As they are having fun and showing their true personalities, which makes the reader more interested. The quote used is a traditional view on males as a main focus they have talked about is girls. But it is light hearted which goes with the magazine.
