The student learned a great deal in progressing from an early student magazine to creating a professional-looking magazine cover. They were taught many new skills in photo shop and gained knowledge about the forms and conventions of magazines. Their photography skills also improved significantly as their understanding of available technologies increased.

4. I have made a lot of progress making
my magazines. I started of making my
student magazine, which isn’t the best I
have done. But as I have developed
over the course and I am now able to
make a professional looking magazine
cover (bottom one).
I have been taught and have learnt
loads of new things about photo shop. I
also know a lot more about the forms
and conventions of a magazine, as well
as learning about all the different
software on the iMacs. My photography
skills have also improved massively now
I know more about the technologies.
