The Kashmir conflict involves four parties - India, Pakistan, China, and Kashmiris. Kashmir was historically ruled by a Hindu maharaja but has a majority Muslim population. At independence, the maharaja signed Kashmir to India but Pakistan disputes this. The region has been a source of conflict through three wars and ongoing tensions. Both countries claim the region but the UN has called for a plebiscite to let Kashmiris decide their own fate. The dispute remains unresolved with no clear solution in sight.

The first martial law regime under Ayub Khan from 1958-1969 made some reforms but failed to solve underlying problems. His successor, Yahya Khan, oversaw Pakistan's first democratic election in 1970, but this led to civil war and the creation of Bangladesh in 1971 as East Pakistan seceded.
Problems faced by pakistan after its creation

Post Partition Problems of Pakistan

Born: 14 May 1907 at Rehana.
Died: 19 April 1974 at Islamabad
Education : For his basic education, he was enrolled in a school in Sarai Saleh, which was about 4 miles from his village , after that he was shifted to Haripur School .
. After passing his Matriculation Examination in 1922, Ayub was sent to Aligarh University where he spent four years. However, before appearing exams, he was selected for the Royal Military College at Sandhurst. He sailed for England in 1926.

Ayub Khan came to power in Pakistan in 1958 through a military coup. He introduced several reforms during his rule from 1958-1969, including political reforms that established a system of Basic Democracies, economic reforms to encourage industrialization and the Green Revolution, and land reforms that placed limits on land ownership. However, his reforms primarily benefited wealthy landowners and industrialists in Punjab and increased regional and economic disparities in Pakistan. Ayub Khan's authoritarian rule ended growing discontent, especially in East Pakistan.

Studied at Aligarh Muslim University.

Fought in World War II as Commissioned Officer.
In 1950, became first Pakistani to lead army as its Commander-In-Chief.
Army took control of the country in 1958 & appointed General Ayub Khan as Chief Martial Law Administrator.
Soon after, Ayub Khan declared himself as President.

The Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry in Bangladesh is a cornerstone of the economy, but increasing costs and stagnant productivity pose significant challenges to profitability. This study explores the implementation of Lean Management in the Sampling Section of RMG factories to enhance productivity. Drawing from a comprehensive literature review, theoretical framework, and action research methodology, the study identifies key areas for improvement and proposes solutions.
Through the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), the research identifies low productivity as the primary problem in the Sampling Section, with a PPH (Productivity per head) of only 4.0. Using Lean Management techniques such as 5S, Standardized work, PDCA/Kaizen, KANBAN, and Quick Changeover, the study addresses issues such as pre and post Quick Changeover (QCO) time, improper line balancing, and sudden plan changes.
The research employs regression analysis to test hypotheses, revealing a significant correlation between reducing QCO time and increasing productivity. With a regression equation of Y = -0.000501X + 6.72 and an R-squared value of 0.98, the study demonstrates a strong relationship between the independent variables (QCO downtime and improper line balancing downtime) and the dependent variable (productivity per head).
The findings suggest that by implementing Lean Management practices and addressing key productivity inhibitors, RMG factories can achieve substantial improvements in efficiency and profitability. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance productivity in the RMG industry and similar manufacturing sectors.

- 2. TOPIC QUAID E AZAM AS GOVERNOR GENERAL
- 4. INTRODUCTION • Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was one of the greatest leaders of the modern age. • On 15th August 1947, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah became the 1st Governor General of Pakistan. • He remained Governor General of the country for thirteen months. During this period, he solved many important national issues.
- 5. INTODUCTION • The new country was faced with lot of problems like refugee rehabilitation, issue of princely states, non-availability of a workable system for running affairs of the State, farming of new constitution and financial strains etc. • Quaid-i-Azam tackled these problems boldly and with failing health in such a manner that its parallel can not be found rarely in history of the world.
- 7. STANLEY SAID ABOUT QUAID E AZAM • “Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.” • ― Stanley Wolpert, Jinnah of Pakistan
- 9. PAKISTAN’S FIRST CABINET • As soon as the Quaid-i-Azam took an immediate action and nominated members of the Federal Cabinet to run the Government affairs smoothly. Liaquat Ali Khan was elected as the Prime Minister. Other members of the cabinet were also nominated. This first cabinet of Pakistan took oath on 15th August 1947.
- 10. CONSTITUTIONAL PROBLEMS • The Act of 1935 was amended and enforced in the country as there was no constitution available of the newly born state. • Thus this great achievement was done under the administrative leadership of the Quaid-i- Azam.
- 11. ESTABLISHMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEAD QUARTERS • For the administrative reformation, a committee was set up and Chaudhry Muhammad Ali was made the Secretary General. • Civil Services were re-organized and Civil Services Academy was constituted. • The Secretariat was established. • Moreover, Head quarters for Army, Navy and Air Force were set up. An ammunition factory was also set up.
- 12. ATTENTION TO FOREIGN AFFAIRS • Realizing the sensitivity of foreign affairs, Quaid-i-Azam paid his utmost attention to the Foreign Policy. • He developed healthy relations with the neighboring and developed countries that were the main objective of the Foreign Policy.
- 13. • MEMBERSHIP OF UNO • After independence, Quaid-i-Azam paid immediate attention for acquiring membership of the United Nations Organization (UNO). • On 30th September 1947, Pakistan became the member of the UNO. This all, was done under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam
- 14. IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATION POLICY • Education plays an important role in the development of a country. • It improves living standard of a nation and development. Education sector also needed attention at the time of independence. • for this purpose, he held the first Educational Conference in 1947. • He wished that every citizen of Pakistan should serve his nation with honesty and national spirit. • He made nation with honesty and national spirit. He made acquisition of scientific and technological education compulsory for the students. • Quaid-i-Azam did a lot to improve education policy of the country.
- 15. IN THE SERVICE OF PAKISTAN • Quaid-i-Azam served his country till his death. Despite his bad health, he kept on going through the important files. He succumbed to deadly disease of consumption. • These were the most important works done by the Quaid as Governor General in a very short period of 13 months. These achievements of the Quiaid will not be forgotten by the people of Pakistan.
- 17. CONCLUSION • Quaid e azam worked as governor general of pakistan for 13 month.He died on 11 September 1948. During this short period, he used his penetrating insight and leadership abalities and resolved important national issues that helped Pakistan stand on its feet. • Quaid e azam well judged the seriousness of the circumstances and made karahi as a capital of pakistan promptly • Advised government officials to do their duty with honety and faithfulness. • He arranged to operate special trains to shift officers from India and Pakistan • He launched civil services and made Pakistan civil service academy. • Quaid-e-azam served pakistan till he breathed his last . despite his broken health ,he would study important files
