EQGOR is a new routing protocol proposed for wireless sensor networks that aims to efficiently provide quality of service guarantees for reliability and delay. Existing geographic opportunistic routing approaches are not optimized for quality of service provisioning in terms of energy efficiency and latency. EQGOR selects and prioritizes forwarding candidates in an efficient manner suited for wireless sensor networks, considering energy efficiency, latency, and time complexity. Simulation and experimental results show that EQGOR outperforms multipath routing and other baseline protocols by significantly improving end-to-end energy efficiency and latency while maintaining low time complexity.

This document proposes a new approach to provide end-to-end quality of service (QoS) guarantees in mobile networks. Existing routing protocols cannot guarantee end-to-end QoS as paths change rapidly with node mobility. The document focuses on guaranteeing end-to-end per-packet energy consumption, which is important for networks where mechanical energy powers nodes. It constructs "energy maps" showing potential energy fields using local node measurements. If maps can be jointly built and disseminated within the "coherence time" before they change significantly, they can provide end-to-end energy guarantees for packets. Algorithms are described for path integration and dissemination to construct and spread maps network-wide.

IGLAR is an improved QoS-aware routing algorithm proposed for highly dynamic vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs). It focuses on identifying optimal paths for routing between sources and destinations in VANETs based on vehicular traffic patterns and priorities. IGLAR works by identifying routes, binding routes, and updating or deleting routes based on adaptive QoS metrics before selecting the optimal route. The paper describes IGLAR's design and implementation based on DSRC specifications and IEEE 802.11p MAC. Simulation results using VanetMobiSim show IGLAR has better performance than GPSR, AODV, and DYMO in terms of delivery rate and delay for two urban road scenarios.
This document proposes an Enhanced and Integrated Ant Colony-Artificial Bee Colony (EIAC-ABCMR) approach for multicast routing in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) that satisfies quality of service (QoS) constraints. EIAC-ABCMR determines an optimal multicast tree using a metaheuristic algorithm that integrates ant colony optimization and artificial bee colony algorithms. This prevents stagnation and delayed convergence issues. The algorithm formulates the multicast routing problem as a multi-objective function minimizing delay, cost, jitter while maximizing bandwidth. Simulation results show EIAC-ABCMR outperforms other multicast routing techniques in reducing multicast groups
The document proposes algorithms for topology control and optimum relay selection in cooperative ad hoc networks. Existing research only considers energy savings or network connectivity, but not both. The proposed algorithms first build an energy-efficient topology using cooperative communication while minimizing transmission power. They then select the optimum relay nodes from this topology to reduce overall power consumption for transmissions.

Avoiding packet loss in gateway reallocation in mobile wimax networkseSAT Journals
Abstract Gateway reallocation algorithms are proposed to increase the capacity of WiMAX networks to serve more users. But most of the proposed solutions don’t consider the momentary packet loss occurring during the reallocation process. This momentary packet loss can also affect the application quality of service. In this work, I propose an efficient adaptive buffering strategy to avoid this packet loss in the network. Through simulation I prove that the approach is effective against momentary packet loss during the gateway reallocation process.

IRJET- Aggregate Signature Scheme and Secured ID for Wireless Sensor Netw...IRJET Journal
This document proposes a cross-layer resource allocation scheme over wireless relay networks to guarantee quality of service (QoS) in terms of delay. The scheme aims to maximize network throughput subject to a given delay constraint, characterized by a QoS exponent θ. Dynamic resource allocation algorithms are developed for amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward relay networks based on network channel state information and the QoS constraint. Simulations show the scheme efficiently supports diverse QoS requirements over wireless relay networks, and relay networks outperform direct transmissions under stringent delay constraints.
The document presents a comparative study of various QoS-based routing protocols in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). It discusses the challenges of providing quality of service (QoS) guarantees in MANETs due to node mobility and dynamic topology. It reviews several QoS routing protocols including QOLSR, which extends OLSR to consider QoS metrics during multipoint relay selection. The document also analyzes research papers on optimizing OLSR for VANETs using metaheuristic algorithms, addressing selfish nodes in cluster-based QOLSR using a reputation system, and selecting multipoint relays in OLSR using fuzzy logic and QoS metrics. It concludes that OLSR-based

Qo s management for mobile satellite communicationeSAT Journals
Abstract In this paper, a cross-layer architecture (QoSatAr) is developed to provide end-to-end quality of service (QoS) guarantees for Internet protocol (IP) traffic over the Digital Video Broadcasting-Second generation (DVB-S2) satellite systems. The architecture design is based on a cross-layer optimization between the physical layer and the network layer to provide QoS provisioning based on the bandwidth availability present in the DVB-S2 satellite channel. One of the most important aspects of the architecture design is that QoSatAr is able to guarantee the QoS requirements for specific traffic flows considering a single parameter: the bandwidth availability which is set at the physical layer (considering adaptive code and modulation adaptation) and sent to the network layer by means of a cross-layer optimization. The architecture has been evaluated using the NS-2 simulator. Keywords: QoSatAr, DVB-S2, ACM, RQM, DiffServ
Priority scheduling for multipath video transmission in wmsnsIJCNCJournal
This document proposes a priority scheduling mechanism for multipath video transmission over wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSNs). It assigns different priorities to different types of video frames (I, P, B frames) and schedules them over multiple paths based on path conditions. Higher priority I and P frames are scheduled along higher quality paths. It divides node buffers into queues and uses round-robin scheduling between the queues based on frame type to prioritize transmission of higher priority frames. Path scores are calculated based on metrics like bandwidth, delay and energy to identify highest quality paths for important video packets. Simulation results show this approach improves video quality at the receiver.
This document summarizes a research paper on QoS routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). It describes a QoS routing protocol called QOSRGA that uses a genetic algorithm to find high-quality routes between nodes that meet multiple QoS constraints like bandwidth, delay, and connectivity. The protocol relies on cooperation between sub-protocols to discover multiple paths, monitor node states, and measure bandwidth. It also introduces a new metric called node connectivity index to evaluate path quality. Simulation results show that QOSRGA performs well in finding routes that meet constraints, even as node mobility increases.
This document analyzes the impact of varying transmission range, mobility speed, and number of nodes on the performance of three routing protocols (AODV, DSDV, DSR) in mobile ad hoc networks. It simulates these protocols using the NS-2 simulator and measures the performance based on several QoS metrics including packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, routing overhead, and throughput. The results show that AODV generally has the best packet delivery ratio and throughput, while DSDV has the lowest end-to-end delay. DSR performance is between AODV and DSDV. Increasing the transmission range and number of nodes tends to improve performance, while increasing mobility reduces it.
This document summarizes a research paper that proposes an energy and bandwidth constrained routing technique for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). It presents an available bandwidth measurement algorithm that estimates available bandwidth more accurately by considering node capacity, link utilization, idle time synchronization, collision probability, and overhead from backoff mechanisms. It also proposes a probability-based overhearing method to reduce energy consumption from overhearing without affecting route quality. The techniques are evaluated using NS2 simulations to analyze network performance in terms of quality of service parameters.
A Cross-Layer Based Multipath Routing Protocol To Improve QoS In Mobile Adhoc...IDES Editor
In Mobile ad hoc networks, due to the high packet loss rates
and frequent topological changes, the unbalanced transport
layer and reserved amount of traffic is carried out by the
network. In a QoS based routing metric for MANETs, it is
necessary to combine the minimum available bandwidth and
end-to-end delay along with the congestion around a link. In
this paper, a cross layer based multipath routing (CBMR)
protocol to improve QoS in mobile ad hoc networks to allot
weights to individual links, depending on the metrics link
quality, channel quality and end-to-end delay is developed. In
order to validate load balancing and interference between the
links using the same channel, the individual link weights are
integrated into a routing metric. Therefore, the weight value
helps the routing protocol to avoid the routing traffic through
the congested area hence the traffic is balanced and the
network capacity is improved. Then the proportion of traffic
to be routed to each neighbor is selected to execute routing
such that the weight of the node is a minimum. We also
propose an enhanced TCP congestion control mechanism for
wireless networks, based on a cross-layer scheme. By our
simulation results, the robustness of our protocol achieves
increased packet delivery ratio with reduced latency was
demonstrated.
Reliable and efficient webserver management for task scheduling in edge-cloud...IJECEIAES
The development in the field of cloud webserver management for the execution of the workflow and meeting the quality-of-service (QoS) prerequisites in a distributed cloud environment has been a challenging task. Though, internet of things (IoT) of work presented for the scheduling of the workflow in a heterogeneous cloud environment. Moreover, the rapid development in the field of cloud computing like edge-cloud computing creates new methods to schedule the workflow in a heterogenous cloud environment to process different tasks like IoT, event-driven applications, and different network applications. The current methods used for workflow scheduling have failed to provide better trade-offs to meet reliable performance with minimal delay. In this paper, a novel web server resource management framework is presented namely the reliable and efficient webserver management (REWM) framework for the edge-cloud environment. The experiment is conducted on complex bioinformatic workflows; the result shows the significant reduction of cost and energy by the proposed REWM in comparison with standard webserver management methodology.

DATA TRANSPARENT AUTHENTICATION USING QOD IN HYBRID NETWORKSEditor IJMTER
Hybrid networks are next generation of wireless networks that could be a
combination of Mobile wireless adhoc (MANET) networks and Wireless Infrastructure
networks. They are increasingly utilized in wireless communications that are extremely
supporting real time transmission with restricted Quality of Service. Invalid reservation and
race condition issues happens in MANET. In existing system, QoS-Oriented Distributed
routing protocol (QOD) is employed to boost the QoS support capability of hybrid networks,
it transforms the packet routing problem to resource scheduling problem that has 5
algorithms. They are, QoS guaranteed neighbor selection algorithm, Distributed packet
scheduling algorithm, Mobility based segment resizing algorithm, Traffic redundant
elimination algorithm and Data redundancy elimination based transmission algorithm. The
main drawback of hybrid networks is so far examined in minimum transmission hops and has
less beneficial feature with restricted number of mobile access points, mobility speeds, and
mobile workloads and with different network sizes. It will extremely perform on random
way point model and less in real mobility model. This paper present Data Transparent
Authentication to authenticates data streams by adjusting interpacket delay. Data Transparent
Authentication while not Communication overhead is an approach which reduces breakdown
of original information or sends out of band authentication data.
DYNAMIC QUALITY OF SERVICE STABILITY BASED MULTICAST ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR MAN...csandit
Mobile ad hoc networking does not possess any fixed infrastructure and hence, stable routing is the major problem. The mobility nature of MANET’s node facilitates rediscovery of a new path to organizing a routing. In order to intensify the Quality of Service and routing stability in MANET, we propose a Dynamic Quality of service Stability based Multicast Routing Protocol by modifying the Cuckoo Search Algorithm through a modernizing mechanism which is derived from the differential evolution algorithm. Tuned CSA is a combined feature of CSA and DE algorithms. Periodically, each node in the network creates neighbour stability and QoS database at every node by calculating the parameters like node and link stability factor,
bandwidth availability, and delays. Finally, multicast path constructs route request and route reply packets, stability information and performing route maintenance.

A Fair and Efficient Packet Scheduling Scheme for IEEE 802.16 Broadband Wirel...ijasuc
This paper proposes a fair and efficient QoS scheduling scheme for IEEE 802.16 BWA systems that
satisfies both throughput and delay guarantee to various real and non-real time applications. The proposed
QoS scheduling scheme is compared with an existing QoS scheduling scheme proposed in literature in
recent past. Simulation results show that the proposed scheduling scheme can provide a tight QoS
guarantee in terms of delay, delay violation rate and throughput for all types of traffic as defined in the
WiMAX standard, thereby maintaining the fairness and helps to eliminate starvation of lower priority
class services. Bandwidth utilization of the system and fairness index of the resources are also
encountered to validate the QoS provided by our proposed scheduling scheme.

This document describes a proposed system for enabling effective yet privacy-preserving fuzzy keyword search in cloud computing. It formalizes the problem of fuzzy keyword search over encrypted cloud data for the first time. The system uses edit distance to quantify keyword similarity and develops two techniques - wildcard-based and gram-based - to construct efficient fuzzy keyword sets. It then proposes a symbol-based trie-traverse searching scheme to match keywords and retrieve files. Security analysis shows the solution preserves privacy while allowing fuzzy searches.

Comparative analysis between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquapon...bijceesjournal
The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoringIJECEIAES
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

QoS Aware Geographic Opportunistic Routing
In Wireless Sensor Networks
ABSTRACT:
QoS routing is an important research issue in wireless sensor networks (WSNs),
especially for mission-critical monitoring and surveillance systems which requires
timely and reliable data delivery. Existing work exploits multipath routing to guarantee
both reliability and delay QoS constraints in WSNs. However, the multipath routing
approach suffers from a significant energy cost. In this work, we exploit the geographic
opportunistic routing (GOR) for QoS provisioning with both end-to-end reliability and
delay constraints in WSNs. Existing GOR protocols are not efficient for QoS
provisioning in WSNs, in terms of the energy efficiency and computation delay at each
hop. To improve the efficiency of QoS routing in WSNs, we define the problem of
efficient GOR for multiconstrained QoS provisioning in WSNs, which can be
formulated as a multiobjective multiconstraint optimization problem. on the analysis
and observations of different routing metrics in GOR, we then propose an Efficient
QoS-aware GOR (EQGOR) protocol for QoS provisioning in WSNs. EQGOR selects
and prioritizes the forwarding candidate set in an efficient manner, which is suitable for
WSNs in respect of energy efficiency, latency, and time complexity. We
comprehensively evaluate EQGOR by comparing it with the multipath routing
approach and other baseline protocols through ns-2 simulation and evaluate its time
complexity through measurement on the Mica node. Evaluation results demonstrate the
2. effectiveness of the GOR approach for QoS provisioning in WSNs. EQGOR
significantly improves both the end-to-end energy efficiency and latency, and it is
characterized by the low time complexity.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
Existing work exploits multipath routing to guarantee both reliability and delay QoS

of energy efficiency, latency, and time complexitymany existing works have been
proposed to improve the routing reliability and latency in WSNs with unreliable links.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Therefore, many existing works have been proposed to improve the routing reliability
and latency in WSNs with unreliable links. QoS (Quality of Service) provisioning in
network level refers to its ability to deliver a guaranteed level of service to applications.
We proposed to exploit the geographic opportunistic routing (GOR) for
multiconstrained QoS provisioning in WSNs, which is more suitable than theMultipath
routing approach. We found that existing GOR protocol cannot be directly applied to
the QoS provisioning in WSNs. Because the computation delays of a GOR protocol
should be also considered in WSNs. We studied the problem of efficient GOR for multi
constrained QoS provisioning (EGQP) in WSNs.We formulated the EGQP problem as a
multi objective multiconstraint optimization problem and analyzed the properties of
EGQP’s multiple objectives. Based on our analysis and observations, we then proposed

then proposed an Efficient QoS-aware GOR (EQGOR) algorithm for QoSprovisioning
in WSNs. EQGOR achieves a good balance between these multiple objectives, and has a
very low time complexity, which is specifically tailored for WSNs considering the
resource limitation of sensor devices. We conducted extensive evaluations to study the
performance of the proposed EQGOR. Evaluation results demonstrate its efficacy for
QoS provisioning in WSNs.
