This document discusses the development of an efficient quality of service (QoS)-aware geographic opportunistic routing (EqGoR) protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs), aimed at addressing both end-to-end reliability and delay constraints while improving energy efficiency. The study formulates the problem of efficient geographic opportunistic routing (EGQP) as a multi-objective multi-constraint optimization problem and demonstrates through evaluations that EqGoR outperforms existing multipath routing methods. The paper highlights the importance of considering computation delays and proposes a balanced approach tailored for resource-limited sensor devices.
