PBMAC – Position Based Channel Allocation for Vehicular Ad Hoc NetworksEswar Publications
In Vehicular ad hoc networks road safety and traffic management applications required stable communication
channel with minimum disturbances. In vanets vehicles used bandwidth to forward packets towards destination with the help of relay nodes. While exchanging information there are chances of collisions due to improper bandwidth allocation in a network. Some applications such as safety and traffic management required consistent channel conditions. However the design of an efficient medium access control (MAC) is a challenging task due to dynamic topology changes. The existing cluster based TDMA MAC protocols used traffic loads for bandwidth allocation in such a manner position of vehicle in the cluster is not considered. As part of that, vehicles located at end of cluster region can request for channel, as consequence the cluster head (CH) allocates bandwidth based on traffic loads. In this case vehicles are not in a stage to use total reserved slot allocated for usage, because in short
span vehicles move to next cluster region, it shows inefficient allocation of channel. In this paper we proposed an efficient approach for allocation of bandwidth which depends on vehicle position in cluster. Here vehicles at starting position can get more bandwidth when compare to end position vehicles. The simulation shows position based bandwidth allocation where the channel is allocated based on effective and reduces collisions as result improves overall network performance.

High mobility of mobile nodes is one of the major reasons for link failures in mobile ad hoc network (MANET). The present paper aims at proposing modification of well known Ad hoc On demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol for MANET seeking stable route for data transmission and incorporating link break avoidance scheme for such networks. The performance of the proposed routing protocol, named as Route Stability based Ad hoc On demand Distance Vector (RSAODV), is evaluated considering some major performance metrics which include average route life time, throughput, packet delivery fraction, normalized routing load and end–to-end delay. The study is based on simulation runs adopting CBR traffic pattern taking care of node failure scenarios. The performance of RAODV is compared with AODV routing protocol. The simulation runs exhibit significant increase in average route life time, packet delivery fraction and throughput for RSAODV, on the other hand, the normalized routing load and end–to-end delay are reduced for this routing protocol as compared to AODV routing protocol.

Recently, Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) has drawn vast interest to many researchers due to its potential in healthcare and medical fields. In this paper, we propose the energy efficiency model of Time Diversity communication in Rician and Rayleigh fading channels emphasizing the optimal packet size. The optimal packet size to maximize energy efficiency is investigated for on-body and in-body channels. Four modulation techniques are considered including the recently proposed 16-ary Quadrature Amplitude Position Modulation (QAPM). In addition, the closed-form expression of the energy efficiency model in multipath fading is derived. Here, three evaluation metrics including the energy efficiency, the normalized throughput and the average end-to-end delay are adopted and compared to the existing 1-hop and Cooperative communications as well as our previously proposed 2-hop communication. The results show that our proposed Time Diversity communication scheme outperforms the existing ones in deep fading channel except for the average end-to-end delay

CONGESTION AWARE LINK COST ROUTING FOR MANETSIJCNCJournal
Due to the dynamic topology, self-configuration and decentralized nature of Mobile Ad hoc Network
(MANET), it provides many benefits in wireless networks and is easy to deploy. But the transmission of
data over ad hoc networks has elevated many technical issues for successful routing. Congestion is one of
the important issues which cause performance degradation of a network, due to long delay and high packet
loss. This paper proposes a Congestion aware Link Cost Routing for MANET where the protocol finds a
path with optimized linked cost based on SNR, Link delay, and the and remaining battery power. Along
with this optimization, in this protocol, every node finds its congestion status and participates in the route
discovery on the basis of its status. Data forwarding is also done based on the congestion status at the time
of forwarding. The protocol results in better performance in terms of packet delivery fraction, end to end
delay, throughput, and packet drop when compared to existing protocols.

MANET is a standalone system of mobile wireless nodes that move at any time within a changing topology. These mobile nodes are self-managed, perform the routing process, and flow data between them across multiple hops and independently of any central authority. The path from the source node to the target node is chosen based on several criteria called path selection criteria. Single-Path routing protocols store the best path for the target node in the source node routing table, while Multi-Path routing protocols store multiple paths for the target node in the source node routing table with the goal of having Alternate paths that can be used if the primary path used fails. In this research, we conducted a performance Evaluation of the Multi-path routing protocols in wireless mobile Ad-hoc networks AODMV, MDART, where the nodes move random movement in the RWP model, and the contract speed is changed for all performance parameters (throughput -Data Packets Dropped - Average End-to-End Delay - Packet Delivery Ratio/Fraction - Normalized Routing Load - Routing Overhead). The study showed that the performance of the AOMDV protocol is best for medium and slow speed in all measured parameters, while performance of MDART protocol is the worst for medium and slow speed, and that there is no effective routing protocol no matter how fast the nodes are.

ECA MODEL BASED QOS AODV ROUTING FOR MANETSIJCNCJournal
Applications like banking, interactive multimedia, movie on demand, VOIP, etc., are delay sensitive by
nature. The QoS given to users will be affected by network delay, which can be mitigated by employing
QoS routing and efficient data transfer. To build routing table, normal AODV routing uses flooding
technique, which will not consider QoS requirements. Hence QoS based routing which is stable for the
entire application is essential, which understands the dynamic nature of the MANET and establishes the
required route, in minimum possible time. We have proposed an intelligent routing protocol based ECA
model and AODV for establishing QoS route.
The simulation results shows that the ECA model gives better results, while considering the local
connectivity time, source to destination connectivity time, number of data packets successfully delivered to
the destination, local and global error correction time, compared to AODV.

Vehicular adhoc network (VANET) adopts or resembles a similar structure of Mobile adhoc network (MANET). The communication in VANET are generally classified into following three categories such as Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Hybrid network which is a combination of V2V and V2I network. VANET using the IEEE 802.11p standard has great potential of achieving objectives of Smart intelligent transport system (SITS) for improving transport and road safety efficiency. As more and more services is been provided for V2V based VANET network. It is a challenging task to provide QoS to end user, due to wireless medium that has limited channel availability for transmission. To guarantee QoS and provide efficient network performance, a prioritized MAC need to be designed. Many priority based MAC has been designed in recent times to improve the quality of data delivery to end user. However these do not consider the impact of environment and presence of obstacle which affects the signal attenuation at the receiver end and affecting the QoS of channel availability. To address, this work present an obstacle based radio propagation model, obstacle based CEV (City, Expressway and Village) environmental model and a selective MAC to provide QoS for different services. The proposed model efficiency is evaluated in term of throughput achieved per channel, Collison and success packet transmission. To evaluate the adaptive performance of proposed AMACexperiment are conducted under CEV environment and are compared with existing MAC NCCMA. The outcome achieved shows that the proposed model is efficient in term of reducing Collison, improving packet transmission and throughput performance considering two types of services.
Bandwidth aware on demand multipath routing in manetsijwmn
Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) are self configuring, decentralized and dynamic nature wireless
networks which have no infrastructure. These offer a number of advantages, however the demand of high
traffic flows in MANETs increases rapidly. For these demands, limited bandwidth of wireless network is the
important parameter that restrains the development of real time multimedia applications. In this work, we
propose a solution to utilize available bandwidth of the channel for on demand multiple disjoint paths. The
approximate bandwidth of a node is used to find the available bandwidth of the path. The source chooses
the primary route for data forwarding on the basis of path bandwidth. The simulation results show that the
proposed solution reduces the frequency of broadcast and performs well in improving the end to end
throughput, packet delivery ratio, and the end to end delay.

One of the most important design problems for multi-UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle) systems is the communication which is crucial for cooperation and collaboration between the UAVs. If all UAVs are directly connected to an infrastructure, such as a ground base or a satellite, the communication between UAVs can be realized through the in-frastructure. However, this infrastructure based communication architecture restricts the capabilities of the multi-UAV systems. Ad-hoc networking between UAVs can solve the problems arising from a fully infrastructure based UAV networks. In this paper, Flying Ad-Hoc Networks (FANETs) are surveyed which is an ad hoc network connecting the UAVs. The differences between FANETs, MANETs (Mobile Ad-hoc Networks) and VANETs (Vehicle Ad-Hoc Networks) are clarified first, and then the main FANET design challenges are introduced. Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
