Final Masthead Decisions

Bauer Media and IPC Media are both potential media institutions to distribute a new chart music magazine targeted at teenage girls aged 16-19. IPC publishes NME and Teen Now which have similar target audiences. Bauer publishes Q Magazine and Kerrang!, also targeting similar audiences. Bauer has an advantage through its extensive multi-platform presence across TV, radio, tours and festivals focused on music genres featured in the charts. This diversity would help attract and retain the target audience better than IPC, making Bauer Media the best choice to distribute the new magazine.

land.

like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land

Harris Publications Is a music media distributer since the 1950s which were an inspiration for the XXL magazine. Intermedia Was found by Leo Hindery in 2005, they provided the consumers with popular R&B magazines.
- 3. Intermedia • Has many connections in their reach and are capable of providing more than one media products. They provide music magazine , television and literary publishing. • Their assets are worth around $1billion this means that they have higher investment power and they can spend more money to produce my magazines so that it will be available on a global scale. • They are also the publishers of the famous ‘VIBE’ magazine this means that they have a good status and reputation which will be beneficial for my magazine as it may already be perceived as a commendable magazine.

Townsquare • Rely on the radio to distribute their music which is a great way to raise awareness of new media products. • It only focuses on one media platform therefore the company may not have enough reach, however it would be relatively better than intermedia as they would be able to focus on my music magazine more.
- 5. • Europe’s largest music group, famous for distributing ‘Q’ magazine and are in charge of 4 music. Their target audience are people aged 14-25(youths) this is a similar target audience to mine therefore it will be suitable to use this producer. Therefore, they may distribute my magazine as I have similar target audience
- 6. Retailers • Tesco • Asda • Wh Smith • Sainsburys These retailers would help me reach my audience as they may display my magazine in their stores which may attract potential customers
