The PVP (Person Verb Plus) formula is designed to help students construct sentences more easily and quickly. It has 4 types of formulas: Formula 1 is for simple present tense and adds "s" to singular verbs. Formula 2 is for present continuous tense and uses "is" plus the verb plus "ing". Formula 3 is for plural subjects or subjects with more than one person. Formula 4 is also for plural subjects but in the present continuous tense. The formulas provide a structured approach for students to build sentences step-by-step by focusing on the subject, verb, and other components.
