• Open Ended = Without fixed limits, free
• Leading Questions = Encourages a desired
answer
35. Do vs. Does
• To make a question in English we often use
“do” or “don’t” at the beginning of a sentence
• We use Do when the subject is I, you, we or
they.
• When the subject is he, she or it, we add
DOES at the beginning to make the affirmative
sentence a question.

• Does it hurt?
-Pronoun “it” as in the hurt….so we use does.
• Do you feel pain?
-Pronoun “you”…..so we use do.
