(helicopter parenting). Lahey shows a perfect example at the beginning of the article where a mother

want her to be overstressed. This type of parenting makes teachers jobs more difficult because the
student is not learning the material if their parents are doing their homework. Overall Lahey argues

image. The cabin and lights seem to represent something unwanted, like bad breath lingering after
lunch. The avalanche represents the gum being chewed and the feeling of it clearing away the bad

INTRODUCTION
The definition of a project is a complex one time effort which is limited by time, budget and resources
in order to complete certain objectives. If these characteristics are not met it results in project
management failure. An example of this is the Pike River Coal Mine tragedy which occurred on
November 19th 2010 which is located on the West Coast of New Zealand, where a series of methane
explosions happened resulting in the loss of 29 men s lives and 2 survivors walking away from the
explosions. This report will look into the project management failures which occurred at the Pike
River Coal Mine such as not completing objectives by certain deadlines which then would lead to
going over the financial budget and how the overall management of the project could have been
improved to decrease these failures. Also throughout the Pike River Coal mine project it highlighted
serval issues which may occur when dealing with the management of the people whether it being
individuals or team. This report will look at the theories of motivation and communication and see
how these theories helped contribute to the Pike River tragedy.

Beauty is terribly treated and wants to be a wild horse. In The Georges And The Jewels By Jane
Smiley, Abby had given up riding her new horse because her father had to sell the one horse she truly
enjoyed. By examining Black Beauty and The Georges And The Jewels, it is evident that both texts
use first person point of view to develop the characters.
Preliminarily, Black Beauty uses first person narration to develop the protagonist by expressing their
inside thoughts about their surroundings. In paragraph 2, it states, Those who have never had a bit in
their mouths cannot think how bad it feels, a great piece of cold hard steel as thick as a man s finger to

Its takes courage, experience and resolve to change roles because of situations, especially if the role is
a demotion to a lesser position. In my opinion, the most important part of leadership is interpreting
leader follower situation and responding efficiently and effectively for the overall good. Coach Yoast
was excellent at interpreting situations. His actions and observation skills also facilitated the success
of the team racial merger when Gary and Julius came together at football camp. His hesitation to
