1. WORKING TITLE
Currently I’mworking on a magazine called WW Football News. I havechosen
this becauseI love the game and I want to make a magazineon something I’m
interested in becauseI will do it to a better standard. I havecalled it that because
Itwill be talking about the latest football news, transfers, boots.
AUDIENCE
My audience will be targeted at people between the age of 8 and 16, so young
people heading into the age of young adults. I will be aiming it towards males
with a social status of lower and middle class (C2 DE). I have chosen to aim
around this area because most males around this area of social class and age
often are into football and go to the matches and are die hard fans of the game.
The biggest reason for me choosing this type of audience is my magazine will
contain facts and more photos instead of having loads of paragraphs, which is
what young people will prefer to read and look at. The magazine will also include
advertisement of fifa 18 and promotions for football equipment. My magazine
psychographic would bean achiever as this is mostlikely a serious business
person who wants power and material wealth.

Since starting college I have finished my Irn-Bru projectand my shortfilm
rotation. Between both subjects I havelearnt how to use Photoshop, Premiere
Pro, and After Effects, while also using Microsoftword and PowerPoint. After
learning these applications, it will help me whilstcreating my football magazine
because I feel confident enough to edit text and photographs I wantto put in my
magazine. The useof Photoshop will help massively when creating my magazine
as majority of it will be done through this application.
PROJECT CONCEPT(APPROX200 WORDS)
The concept for my magazine is focused on football. It will be called ‘Worldwide
Football News’ (WWFN). Itwillcontain information from across theworld but
mostly England. Mostinformation will come from the Europe’s elite leagues such
as the Premier League, La Liga Santander, Seria A and Bundesliga. The main
reason I have decided to focus on the leagues I havechosen is because the best
plyers fromaround the world play in these leagues and all of them are heroes
and idols to my target audience with players such as Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar,
will be featured in my magazineas to will all the other world class players. I will
include news on the latest transfers, rumors thatmay be happening, I will gather
my information of social media and Sky sports news. I willalso be including
posters and competitions that people can enter for free and win great prizes.

2. I will also be adding quizzes into my magazine and possibly putting word searches
in that has the names of football clubs from the different leagues.

I plan to evaluate my work by looking at other companies with very similar
magazines to what I wantto create to see whatelse I could be adding to makemy
work to the best standard it could be.
