2. DELETE THIS SLIDE
• This document is set up for the for general visual
based still image production.
• This document is not exhaustive and you can add
new elements and remove elements that may not
be appropriate for your chosen product type. For
example:
– Moving image- you do not need to do layout plans but
you will need to conduct storyboard and add them to
this document
• Only slides with titles in BLUE can be deleted.
Everything else is necessary for the unit.
3. Style sheet- Fonts
• I have chosen these style of fonts as
they were my favorite choice to
potentially use in my magazine for
my masthead and the subtitles. I
have wrote of the name of the club I
am going to be creating my
magazine on and wrote next to each
one what the font name is.
• For my masthead I think I am going
to be using marker felt as its bold
and simple and easy to read which is
what you want to look for in a
masthead.
• For the subtitles in my magazine I
will be using either Lucia Bright or a
font similar to this style as I am
wanting to keep my magazine simple
and basic looking.
4. Style sheet-colours
• The colour scheme of my magazine is going to
try and relate to the colours that the football
team play in which are a sunshine yellow and
a orchid purple. Which won’t be a nice
contrast of the two colours together as both
colours are very bright and stand out colours.
• I feel that the colours that would contrast
nicely with the orchard purple would be
neutral colours.
• I’m going to try to achieve a consistent even
flow of the same colours throughout the
magazine
5. Layout 1
The start of my football magazine
front cover is very basic a I'm still
developing what can be added into
the front cover without over doing
it.
I am trying to use rulers to
recreate a grids which allow me to
plan out the layout of the
magazine nicely.
6. Layout 2
Mock up of a potential
design using the
colours and fonts
established in your
style sheet and sourced
images.
Alter this slide to make
it appropriate for your
planned product types.
Add further layout
slides to create at least
one for each product
you plan to make.
8. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Not being able to capture a clear snapshot of a
player during the game.
Attend multiple matches if I’m not able to
capture a snapshot that I'm satisfied with after
the first match to use for my magazine.
Weather, due to having a camera if its raining
this could lead to equipment malfunctioning
and poor picture quality due to a wet camera
lens.
Attend more than one football match, take dry
cloths to be able to wipe and clean the lens.
Also an umbrella to give me the best chance of
keeping the camera dry.
9. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Slip and injure myself wear suitable footwear such as walking boots if
the ground is wet or muddy.
Travelling to and from the football venue stick to the speed limit and leave plenty of time
so I am not in a rush to get there.
Editor's Notes
Explore colours, fonts and image styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss all three elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to
