Working Title:
Digital Filmmaking
Audience:
Who is your audience? Why would your project appeal to this person?
Anyone with an interest in filmmaking or cameras or film in general. It will be more for the technical
aspect of filmmaking such as directors and cinematographers. It will be more targeted at males as
they have more of a prominent role in the filmmaking industry. Most reader would be between 18-
45 so it will need to be professional but engaging.
Rationale
Review your progress throughout the year- what video game and Photoshop skills and knowledge
have you acquired? I have pretty much learnt all the basics of photoshop and some intermediate
skills
How will you use those skills? I will not use many of these skills as the concept doesn’t really
require heavy photoshopping of photos as it more the physical picture that will draw people in
What was your advergame and how will it have a direct impact upon your project? My advergame
was a space-invaders like game and it will have no impact on this project
Project Concept
What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make?
To create a magazine about the technical aspects of filmmaking for beginners and intermediates. It
will include professionals’ tips, easy how-to s and big pieces on becoming a filmmaker.
What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project?
I will need to re-search how to use InDesign and some Photoshop tricks. I will also have to
research some of the content I wish to right about that I don’t yet know.

How will this process help developing your working practices as you continue with your
study/media career? It will show me what I need to work on for our FMP
