This document summarizes a dissertation on project management in different organizational conditions. It discusses environmental scanning of case studies, alternatives for organizational structure, technical competency, leadership ability, and characteristics of effective project managers. The best alternatives were found to be a project matrix or team-based organization structure. Planning/organizing, networking, and informing were identified as the most significant managerial practices of effective project managers. Key success factors included developing management structures, training programs, project manager experience, and technical tools and solutions.

3. Introduction of overview dissertation
The thessis studies the most significant critical success factors in
effective project management in different organizational conditions.
•The purpose of this study is the management of two investment project
and change in project management over 10 years period is to
investigate and analyze the status and significance of investment
management system in implemetation of partnership investment project.

project oriented business organisation, The aim of study it to

1. Organizational structure
Gobeli/Larson (1987), matrix organization take the form of functional,
balanced, and proejct matrix. Turner (1998) found that project
matrix was selected 64% of cases. Most organisation in multi
project context are matrix organization. Project anagement
environment in a multi project context and in project driven
organization was noticed to be an area where project management
theory does not provide sufficient support.

Base on surveys of PMI (Project Management Institute) members,
project management software commonly used such as Microsoft
project. In general project manager seems to be satisfied with the tools
available, even if they are not using to them to their intended capacity,
For example earn value as quantitative approach to evaluating the true
performance of project in term of both cost deviation and schedule
deviation.

Zimmerer and Yasin were asked about the factor contributing to
effective project manager, its transpired that positive leadership

Leadership is measured by quesionnaire called the managerial practice

influencing people, building relationship, and giving seeking
information. In this study the characteristics of an effective project
manager were measured by the Managerial Practice Survey (MPS)
