5. General SC Responsibilities
 Fulfill the role of construction supervision, implement all
requirements and demonstrate conformance with the
contract requirement;
 Review, approve or reject CC’s submittals and
deliverables including baseline, programs, proposals,
claims and billings;
 Ensure CC perform their contractual obligations with
compliance through out the course of the project.
 Ensure Quality Assurance and safety for the project;
 Submit all SC’s document requirements and reports as
per schedules;
 Ensure document management system and numbering in
accordance with Engineer’s (PMC) required format,
coding and sequence;

5. General SC Responsibilities
 Ensure CC’s follow their procedures, Method Statements,
ITPs including materials procurements and installations
with quality workmanship;
 Ensure CC’s engage with approved Sub-cons, suppliers
including plants & laboratories that could deliver the
technical, document and workmanship requirements for
the project;
 Ensure required sampling, testing and results for all
permanent construction materials;
 Maintain reliability of Plants, Labs, measuring & testing
equipment;
 Response to all types of inspection request (IR) &
Material Delivery to Site (MDS);

5. General SC Responsibilities
 Exercise preventive measures against nonconformity &
resolve NCR/CAR issues with approved corrective
measures;
 Maintain good line of communication and coordination
with PMC & CC;
 Conduct audit, surveillance walk and evaluate the CC’s
KPI regularly;
 Resolve any Client’s complaint as soon as possible;
 Capture lessons learned for Continual Improvement;
 Ensure CC perform commissioning (as applicable) prior
to handover;
 Deliver the project according to the contractual
obligation.
