When starting off this project I decided to start with a wide range of ideas and see which ones I
liked best, doing this I created a mind map and from there decided on my object of desire being a
magazine.

Now that I have chosen my object of desire I then decided to brainstorm and try and come up as
many video ideas as possible. By creating another mind map this time for my actual idea it gave
me the chance to create 3 or 4 video ideas and see which one was better. Here is the mind map
which I created:

My ideas generation was now completed and now I had a rough idea of what I was going to do. I
decided to go with idea #3 because of how flexible I could be with the structure of the video and a
plus is how much fun it will be to shoot. I then started to draw out a storyboard to get a better
picture of what my advert was going to look like. Here is an example page of my mood board:

On this day I decided to film because the weather was clear and had good filming conditions, I
decided to film my advert at my location down the Irlam Moss. Organisation for this day was very
difficult because of actors working etc but we finally all managed to meet up and get to the
location of film. The shoot went really well and lots of footage was taken giving me lots to play
with when it comes to editing my advert. The main thing I didn’t like about the filming location is
that it had lots of midget flies that would be all over when stood still filming and because of this I
current have bites all over my ankles and its very painful. It was worth it though because I’m very
happy of the clips I got. Here is a screenshot of one of the clips which was shot:

Now that I had all my shots I then decided to start the editing process. First of all I started to
rename all the clips, doing this by what was happening in the shot so I could identify when editing.
When all clips were renamed I then imported all the clips into Premiere, after doing this I then
searched for the music that would go with the style of the video I found this quite easily because I
know what artist I wanted to be played during
the video.
Now that everything was ready I then finally
started to edit the video finally completely it
just before the lesson finished. Here is a
photo of the editing process:

After all the editing was done, I then rendered the video and exported it. After that was done I
then uploaded it to my YouTube channel so I could then embed it onto my blog.
