Make Up Bottles Smash – all people on set need to be careful and
aware of their surroundings, when the cosmetics are being used
make sure you do not knock any on the floor and cause spillage.
This could cause someone to slip and injury themselves. Also glass
will be smashed on the floor which will need cleaning up straight
away to avoid future injury.
Visible Wires – make sure all wires on the floor at out of the way
when people are walking around. If they are left spread out all
over the room someone may trip and fall.
Equipment Placed Correctly – make sure all equipment is on a
steady safe surface, so they do not slide and fall or tip over. To
avoid injuries as the equipment such as a camera and tripod can
be quite heavy and cause damage.

easily avoided. However the level of
risk of the smashed glass would be
quite high.

Solutions:
Make Up Bottles Smash:
- Clear all glass away asap.
- Make sure all liquid is mopped up.
- Make sure the floor is dry not wet before letting staff back
on set.
Visible Wires –
- Make sure all wires are tied up, out of the way were people
will not walk.
- Make sure there are no visible wires and all are covered
with plastic coating
- Make sure no unplugged plugs are facing upwards to avoid
people stepping on them.
Equipment Placed Correctly –
- All cameras and tripods are securely placed in a steady safe
stable surface.
- Ensure all equipment is safe to use.
- Make sure equipment isn’t wet to avoid electrical shocks.
