Final Major Project – Survey Results
Question 1: What is your gender?
I asked this question because I wanted to
know what type gender of the audience I
would have was to finalise my idea for my
final major project. From my results that I
gathered from a total of 6 people
completing the survey three were male and
the other three were female. This meaning
that my audience when completing this
survey was a good half between male and
female. From this information I can now
decide to make my advert to be equally
male and female giving both perspectives
on the product and have a range of male
and female actor in my advert.
Question 2: What age range do you fit in?
I chose this question because I
wanted to see the age range and
groups which would be interested in
watching my final major project. From
my results I gathered that most of my
audience was from the age of 14-18
one person being from the ages of 19-
24 and another being 35+. This clearly
shows that my advert will have a
audience of all ages so to make it
more effect when making will have to
keep in mind who I am advertising for.
Question 3: Do you enjoy watching adverts
which shows something more than promotion?
With this question I wanted to find out if
people wanted to see more in my final
major project than just a plain old
average advert, I want it to be more
depth and have a storyline to it almost
like it’s a short story but still focuses on
the main product during the
advertisement. Looking at my survey all
the responses agreed to yes and they
would like to see more that just
promotion.
Question 4: Would you watch an advert which
shows different lives and situations but all
wearing a certain brand?
This question was to find out if people
would like my idea for my final major
project, I asked them was basic of
what it would be which is different
people with different situations all
wearing the selected brand. The
results I got back where more positive
and some neutral answers, over half of
my responses said yes and the others
say maybe this giving it a 65% to 35%
ratio.
Question 5: Even though this topic might not
interest you, would you still watch the advert?
This last question was just to see who
would watch my advert if they were
not particularly interest in the product.
From my results I got that most people
would watch the advert if not
interested in the topic and only one
person said maybe and might not
watch it if not interest in the certain
topic. Overall I am quite happy with
my responses and will think about
them when creating my final major
project advert.
