This document is a production log for designing a magazine contents page and double page spread (DPS). It summarizes the designer's process, including [1] adding a title and elements to the contents page like images and page numbers, [2] designing the DPS using different fonts and colors to distinguish the interview questions and answers, and [3] incorporating feedback to improve readability by changing fonts and positioning images and text. The log shows the iterative design process for these pages.
High current test systems are used to test the thermal stability of equipment and components. The test system induces a current in the test object causing it to heat up.
The system can perform the heat cycle testing for power cables type test and pre-qualification test according to IEC 60840, and IEC 62067 etc. Based on pre-qualification test needs, test system is divided into two parts: test sample loop and simulation temperature loop
Applications
For testing cables, generator stators, switching cells
Short- term and long-term testing

DC test systems are used to test components and complete systems found in electrical power supply systems and operating on DC voltage. POWERHV DC voltage test systems fulfill the requirements of IEC 60060-1.
The DC voltage test systems can be equipped with polarity reversal.
Applications
High-voltage DC testing for transformers, cables, bushings, switchgears, etc.
Wet and pollution testing
DC current measurements at high-voltage potential
For use indoors and outdoors or modular system for onsite testing
For test and research of DC transmission line corona, radio interference, pollution flashover.
AC test system for XLPE cable up to 500kVkennypowerhv
Power cables of all voltage and current ratings have to be tested and measured for numerous types of electrical testing. The testing depends on service phase ranging from development, manufacture, to routing and long-term operation. PowerHV offers required test systems for all kinds of testing and concerned measurement equipment as well.
Fully shielded high voltage measuring booths with AC resonance systems, water terminations, sensitive PD measurement equipment with PD flaw detection for routine testing of AC and DC voltage cables

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

The world is being changed fundamentally by AI and we are constantly faced with newspaper headlines about its harmful effects. However, there is also the potential to both ameliorate theses harms and use the new abilities of AI to transform society for the good. Can you make the difference?
Between Filth and Fortune- Urban Cattle Foraging Realities by Devi S Nair, An...Mansi Shah
This study examines cattle rearing in urban and rural settings, focusing on milk production and consumption. By exploring a case in Ahmedabad, it highlights the challenges and processes in dairy farming across different environments, emphasising the need for sustainable practices and the essential role of milk in daily consumption.
3. Here I am starting my design of my
contents page on In Design. I've used a
blank A4 page with 2 columns . On the
side I've added the Contents page title
vertically to the left side of the page. I'm
currently following my contents page
draft. I’ve made sure the writing is bold so
that it is visible to everyone that its the
headline. I’ve broken typical magazine
conventions by putting the headline
vertically. I’ve done this in order to capture
my audiences attention when they look at
the page. Also to just be unique.
4. Here you can see I've added to my
contents page. I have added my
selling line and my welcome
message to my readers. I’ve also
included a folio to link my Contents
page and front cover. I will include
a page number and add images to
my contents page soon. At this
stage I’m just placing everything on
the page. I will reduce the size of
the selling line and align it
correctly.
5. Here I have added an image. This
image will represent an article, in
this case my DPS. I will alter this
added a gradient to my ‘Contents’
headline. I will need to add an effect
to create a ‘grime’ theme
throughout the magazine.
6. Here I have added more images and
numbers beside them. I have stuck to my
draft. I’ve also added a new title to
introduce my titles for the rest of the
magazine. I used a different font for the
editors name to imitate a signature. I
have enlarged the images so that it is
clear to my readers.
7. Under the ‘in this issue column I have
listed the other articles included in
this magazine. I need to align it and
space them out because this wont be
clear to the reader. I will also increase
the font size so that it is readable.
8. My headline and my folio ‘UK-G’ have
been made the same colour in order
to coordinate with the theme on the
page. I’ve used the bevel and emboss
tool on in design to enhance my
headline. I’ve also used this technique
on my selling line and my numbers to
create a bold effect.
9. I Have added a black-grey
gradient to my background
to carry on the dark ‘grime’
theme. As you can see my
folio doesn’t fit in with the
background, this is a matter
that can be fixed.
11. This is my first draft of my
double page spread.
The font I have used for my DPS
is impact. I have used this to
make the writing stand out on
the page. Because my DPS
article is an interview I have
made sure the questions and
answers can be distinguished
between the two. That is why I
have coloured the questions in
brown. Notice I have also
introduced a new colour
scheme; brown, orange and
black. This makes the page
more pleasant and colour
coordinated. My folio is my
mast head in a different colour,
I have done this because some
of my pages are white and
therefore the white background
would clash with the magazine
background. Therefore I have

12. Here I have incorporated my ‘wrap
around object shape’ within my article to
make my text go around my image. This
makes it easier for my readers to see and
creates a brilliant effect linking my main
image and text page.
