How to Build a Module in Odoo 17 Using the Scaffold MethodCeline George
Odoo provides an option for creating a module by using a single line command. By using this command the user can make a whole structure of a module. It is very easy for a beginner to make a module. There is no need to make each file manually. This slide will show how to create a module using the scaffold method.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
2. Guidance
• This template PowerPoint presentation includes all the relevant
elements you need to cover your film production.
• It is suggested you save this PP in a different name so you always
have a copy – some sections require you to delete the information on
the slide and replace with your own work
• Add more pages to each section where necessary [you should be
doing this!]
• Add visuals as you see necessary
• This document will be added to as you progress through the pre-
production phase.
4. Pre-Production: Visual Planning
• This section is concerned with the visual planning of your film
• You should use this section to develop the sequencing or your video,
establish the visuals look and sequencing of your film and create a
structure for you to follow when filming
• It is important that you ‘pre-visualise’ the film before you make it; it
will make filming and production a more streamlined process
• The following tasks are part of your visual planning
• Pre-visualisation and concept boards
• Storyboarding
• Shot list
5. Pre-visualisation/Concept Boards
• Tool for exploring the direction and visuals
• Provides inspiration and information for the “look & feel”
• Presents key moments in your video
• A means to sketch/plan ideas
• Information on colour/lighting
• Defining the “mise-en-scene”
• Include as much here as you like, but keep it relevant to the
production, the following slides have been left blank for you to
approach in your own way, add more as you need to
• Suggestion: include your edited short sequence of clips that have
inspired or influenced your video [similar to this:

7. Colour and Lighting
Colour and lighting play a big role in the
production of a film. From these existing shots you
can see they have been shot at night so lighting
stands out more than ever. I would like to
implement this same effect in my film by taking
advantage of the night light produced by
surroundings to give me movie a similar look. I feel
like bright light in the dark gives a lonely sinister
feel to the film as its quite dark.
With this particular lighting in the film the colour is
generally changed on the amount of light you have
in each shot. As it’s shot at night time the only
colour produced is from the surrounding in public
areas or in a controlled environment like my home.
In most of these shots there are lights from the car,
bus stops and lamp posts. These colours are
generally white, green and orange. This gives quite
a gloomy feel to the film but also giving it a nice
look in the dark.
8. Structural breakdown
• The film is split into 5 main sections that allow the film to progress. The first section is the beginning of the film where the main
character is first introduced (James). Shot through 1 to 6 apply to this scene. Section 2 of the film is where the main character
(James) meets the drug dealer to make the deal where the main character leaves with drugs without paying. This section is through
shots 14 to 24. This whole scene shows the dealing pulling up in the beginning and driving away in the end. Section 3 is the scene
after James makes the deal with the dealer. The scene consists of James travelling home from the location they met up with the
Dealer secretly stalking him from behind. This section is shot through 25 to 34. Section 4 is the scene where the Dealer shows up at
James’s home to kill him after he hadn’t paid the dealer. This scene is shot through 38 to 50. Section 5 consists of James traveling to
the drug dealers stash to take all of his drugs after killing him and searching his body for the Post Code, this scene is shot between 50
to 63.
• Details Scene Analysis
• Scene 1: Scene one consists of 6 shots, these six shots are used to show why James has decided to use drugs and what caused this
idea in the first place. The shots themselves show James’s frustration in the beginning then later on James leaving the house too cool
down and meet the dealer.
• Between scene 1 and 2: Between scene 1 and 2 I have decided to carry out shots of James walking between locations 1 and 2. This
consists of him walking down the lane, crossing a road and finally arriving at the destination he meets the dealer.
• Scene 2: Scene two consists of 10 shots, these shots are used to show the conversation between the dealer and James and shots of
how they meet each other, for example the dealer pulling up to the location in his car and James getting in his car so they can have a
private talk without anyone else listening.
• Scene 3: After scene 2, scene 3 begins instantly with the stalking of James, one the deal is made between the two characters James
begins to walk home after his met up with the dealer but the dealer needs collateral if James doesn’t pay him so he decides to follow
James home for the night. The shots are a traveling montage of James being followed by the dealer who can be spotted following
him closely or seen blended in to the background.
• Scene 4: Scene 4 is shots 38 to 50, these shots are used to show the dealer entering James’s house to kill him and the fight scene
between the two characters. It also shows the sequence of James pulling the phone out of James dead body to find the location to
his drug stash
• Scene 5: Scene 5 is the end of the film and consists of James leaving his home in search of the dealers drug stash building. He
eventually finds it with a few travel shots and enters the build, find the drugs and takes them. He then receives a text message on
the dealers phone of someone asking for the drugs for money and at that moment he realizes he’s the new dealer.

13. Master frames
• A master frame is a version of a frame from your storyboard, but with
a more detail
• You could use photos and software to create a series of images from
your intended production [at least 4]
• This would work well as preparation for framing your shots on
location and filming
• Try to give an impression or idea about the final look of the video, so
think about post-production effects, etc
18. Shot List
• Your shot list should contain the sequential breakdown of what you
need to shoot for your film
• It should work in partnership with your storyboard
• It will be your working document when you film
• It should contain the shot number, scene number, shot description,
framing, cast/location info and action you will see
• It should also have information on performers in the scene and other
props, etc
• Shot list template is on Blackboard in the pre-production folder.
22. Production Group Info
• Include names, contact info, and defined roles at difference stages of production,
using a table is suggested

23. Location information
• Information and images of your location[s] for filming
• You should have address details, clearance/premissions for filming, recce photos and floorplans [including camera, equipment and cast/crew
layouts]
• Where possible, have a plan B fallback location option
• Assess each location for any issues and suggest solutions
This location is the back end of my Fathers Chiropractic
clinic (74 Clifton, York YO30 6AW). It’s mainly used for
storage and looks rundown from the outside giving it a
good look, perfect for a drug dealers dealing building. This
is what it will be used for. It will be the location shown at
the end of the film where James ends up travelling too
discovering all of the drugs.
This location is one of the main locations in the
film as it’s the point where James meets the Drug
Dealer and makes the deal with him which sets the
pathway of the rest of the film. This location is the
local Co-op down the road from my home. This
location will be used for the drug deal scene as
outside a convenience store which is a well known
place in existing films for drug deals to take place.
The reason I selected this area to film was because
it has a small car park and drive through next to it
allowing cars to slowly drive by or pick people up.
This area will be used by us as the drug dealers
spot to park his car when dealing the drugs to
James.
46-48 Broadway, Fulford, York YO10 4JX
24. Extra locations
These locations are public areas which will also be
used in the film for specific films. Mostly travel
shots for the main character. The first location
takes place outside of my home. There is an
alleyway next door to the main driveway which
will be used for the scene where James is being
followed by the drug dealer he just received drugs
from. This alleyway is good as from one end you
can see my actual driveway making it the perfect
stalk scene which some dark aspects too it to
make it more creepy. This specific location is
located in Fulford on the Fulford/Selby road.
This location is also located on the Fulford/Selby
road but further up the road, closer to the center
of York. This shot shows an intersection which will
be used to show where James is travelling too.
Once he reaches his location in the film after
messaging the dealer to meet up. The audience
will know where this location is in the film from
existing shots shown before hand allowing them
to paint a map. It will also be a very cinematic
shot which lots of editing to make it look top
notch.

33. Production Schedule
• Provide an outline of what you will
do on which days during production.
• Production schedule for filming: I will be
filming on Saturday 26th of May which will
roll over into Sunday the 27th of May as
filming will take place overnight. If all of
the footage isn’t filmed over these two
days I will have spare days the following
weekend, the 2nd and 3rd of June. After the
first two filming days I will be spending
the rest of the week editing from time to
time and then hopefully when I return to
college I will have a final edit complete or
an edit which can be tweaked until it’s
ready. If I still haven’t filmed by this stage
then I will be using the next weekend
after to film which will be the June 9th and
10th. On all weekends this is the plan of
how the day will be used when filming.
44. Added in a timestamp to give the viewers information about
what's happening
45. After creating the whole sequence without the original footage
audio as it was corrupt I experimented with existing free sound
effects but wasn’t satisfied
